Big DE, like CNS favors. 6'3" 260 lbs. 4.7 forty. Had 12 sacks as a junior. Nice pick-up.

I've heard of him, but don't know much about him.

RTO or Surfer, can you give us any more info? Will he be a DE or DT? Will he be rated as a 3-star?

Very athletic guy that was being used at WR and RB as well. Hes a beast.

just depends on weight gain this year....CNS likes big ends. This one sounds pretty durn quick, too. Haven't seen film to judge much yet.

Guys, we honestly don't have to leave the state except to cherry-pick a few this year (which we definitely will). Alabama is deep.

The thing that continues to surprise me so much is that all three of the verbal commitments on the board currently werent even on the known offer list until they were already committed. Only thing I can figure out is that these guys are jumping at the offers as soon as they get them. Must mean they really want to wear that crimson jersey. :biggrin2: Oh well, It doesnt matter to me how they commit and when as long as they commit and sign later. RTR!!

I doesn't hurt the decision-making process for these athletes to know that Coach Saban don't hold to "no stinkin' flirtin' with no other schools". If you want to come to the University, you'd better get on board now. i.e., if you schmooze, you lose. "And that's a good thing", says Martha Stewart. All of this IMHO, of course. Others don't think the same, understood.

this guy isn't even a senior in high school and coach saban wants him.. i could really care less wut his * rating is..

I am a Pleasant Grove Alumni, Pleasant Grove was likely one of the only larger schools in the state to never ever have a scholarshiped player at Alabama or Auburn, It took them over 35 years but I'm glad to see that dubious distinction come to an end. The only player to play at either school was a kicker named watts who kicked off in the early 90's, he was better known by his nickname "Wild thang"

There have been some very good athaletes at the grove before, but up until recently they had some really REALLLY bad coaching. I can attest personally.
