One thing I do know. This person is an angry, spoiled child who truly believes bullying will help heal his wounds. He isn't a normal adult and he will now seek to extract revenge. His Memorial Day message shows us who and what he is. Should never have been in office.

From CBS News

At 2:56, a buzzer sounded in the courtroom, the signal that the jury had a message to share. Prosecutors, Trump and his team filed in.

Merchan said the jury foreperson signed a note requesting to hear the following transcript portions:
1 David Pecker's testimony regarding the phone conversation with Donald Trump while Pecker was in an investor meeting
2 Testimony of Pecker's decision not to finalize and fund the assignment of life rights related to Karen McDougal
3 Pecker's testimony regarding the Trump Tower meeting 4 Michael Cohen's testimony regarding the Trump Tower meeting
The jury will be brought in and seated, and the transcript portions will be read to them. These are moments that were mentioned during the prosecution's closing arguments Tuesday.

Do we really want Billion-dollar financial disclosures examined at the 0.01% level of materiality, with criminal charges waiting for someone at the end of the audit?
Yes, every last one of them. This kind of attitude is how the wealthy in this country keep getting away with everything.

We little guys get taken to the woodshed for bouncing a $10 check. You know all these rich jerks are burying criminal acts in a pile of paperwork hoping nobody looks. I say start looking and lock them all up!

I would own the witch hunt label. What are you supposed to do with a man who idolizes Hitler and Putin and is exploiting government processes to power? You cant play patty cake with this guy.

I get that a lot of folks, even Republicans, don't like Trump. I don't like him either!

But this has always been a witch hunt by the Democrats.

Not if he was just trying to protect his personal or business reputation.

But the minute he made himself a candidate for political office, he committed fraud in his campaign. And if come to light any political candidate not named Trump would be prosecuted too for similar acts of fraud in their campaign.

Would this prosecution have taken place if Trump wasn't running for president (let alone being the expected Republican nominee with arguably a real chance at beating Biden)?

This is the question I think we should be asking, no?

And I'll also add I wonder how much of that question is going to impact the way some jurors might be thinking in their deliberations.

This is a bigger farce than i thought. the jury was told consider if trump violated federal election law, no can do, this is a state proceding. The FEC looked into this and found nothing. Also the jury was instructed to consider tax evasion, taxes where never mentioned during the trial. The jury asked the judge for a written copy of his instructions and he refused. Why? Lawyers for both sides were denied a copy also. Again Why? No appellate court will stand for this and everybody knows it, this all just for show.

The jury was not given a written copy of Merchan’s charging instructions, something CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said is a problem. While most federal judges will send the actual document with the jury as it deliberates, New York state courts forbid this practice.

Normal MAGA delusion, yes.

Facts First: Trump’s claim inaccurately depicts what Merchan said.

Merchan told the jury in his instructions on Wednesday that their verdict “must be unanimous” on each of the 34 counts that Trump faces and that, to convict Trump of felony falsification of business records, they would have to unanimously agree that he falsified business records with the intent to commit, aid or conceal another crime — that other crime being a violation of a New York election law. But Merchan explained that while this New York election law prohibits people from conspiring to use “unlawful means” to promote a candidate’s election, jurors don’t have to unanimously agree on which particular “unlawful means” Trump may have used; they can find him guilty as long as they unanimously agree that Trump used some unlawful means.
