I met Joe in early 1980’s. He was In Birmingham for The Town and Gown Theatre’s production of “Guys and Dolls”. He’s was hanging out at the hotel pool. We got to meet him because he was hitting on buddy’s girlfriend.

Even then, he was pronouncedly hump-shouldered. I hate any commercial featuring a celebrity advertising a product for people needing an extra source of income or saving a few bucks. I mean, does Selleck really need a reverse mortgage? Does Aaron Rodgers get excited if his insurance agent gives him a special rate on his car insurance?
