Facility upgrades

While I am looking forward to some badly needed renovations at Coleman, let's not over rate the importance of the facility. After all, Duke plays in a dump, and UCLA hasn't done anything to Pauley since the Wooden years, that I am aware of.

Even with renovsations, Coleman will still be outdated. We need a new arena. Period.

Go ahead, say it with me, it won't hurt....Alabama is now a BASKETBALL SCHOOL

'Bama Basketball.... 2002 SEC CHAMPIONS!

I wonder why the City of Tuscaloosa doesn't partner up with the University to build a true Tuscaloosa Civic Center (sort of like what they have at FSU). It seems to me that the success of the Bryant Conference Center ought to make more people go hmmm......

Coleman is badly outdated. It certainly can still be used, but it would be nice for the team to have a top notch facility to play in. However, I don't see UA footing the bill for the while thing.

If CMG KEEPS building a quality program, they could play in the parking lot, and he could still recruit. We need a new arena, but good recruiting starts with CMG. He needs more money first.

Roll On!

Why the hell is Coleman so dark? A few years ago I could understand it being dark because the university did not want people seeing all the empty seats.
But now that we are selling out games, this is a good time to show the crowd. You only get to see the first eight rows on all sides before you see nothing but darkness.

We all can do our part to help UA have the best facilities in the nation. Go to Crimson Tradition.Com and sign up, it's only $12.00/month or $120.00/year -all proceeds benefit the facility campaign.

For those that can't afford Tide Pride prices or live out of town; this is a great way to feel like a part of the Bama family.
We all know that the best facilities along with the Tide Tradition, the best recruits will come to UA.
