Ok folks, we all know of or have a place we like to go when possible to get a good burger. For me, its Hickie's Hamburgers in New Boston, OH. Walk in to this little icon and your plate is a piece of wax paper. The burgers are small (about the size of a Krystal) so you will have to order a few to get your fill. If you stop by during lunch, chances are good you will meet Shug, the owner. First time guests are treated to, "we have virgins" and everyone will clap.

List your favorite place to go for a burger as long it is NOT a chain joint.

Burger Bar at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Not a chain but they do have at least one other location

Great burger, great craft beer and they go to crazy lengths for perfection, including making their own mustard in house

Marlow's Tavern in Vinings is pretty good.

I am told there is a place in Atlanta that supposedly has "the best". It is a cash only type place and I don't know the name.

Stagg's Grocery - a little hole-in-the-wall place in Florence, Alabama. Maybe the best burger you'll ever eat. :)

They have a really great breakfast, too.

Beat me to it. You can feel your arteries clogging as you eat. I have yet to have a better tasting burger anywhere.

There's a place on the north side of Indy called Bubs burgers. Their specialty is a loaded burger that is a pound of meat after being cooked. You almost become a legend if you can finish a whole one and a basket of fries. It's good food, and the sizes are insane!!

The Hungry Owl in Mobile has one that's stuffed with Conecuh sausage that's mighty tasty...and big.

The Ultimate Stuffed Tony Burger. I have yet to finish one.

A mile or two west from there is a little hole in the wall called Loaves and Fishes Café. They have one called a Phat Burger. Instead of a bun, it's between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches.

Can't remember the new name but it used to be called Stamps in Jackson,MS. Place is still there and owned by the same person but it goes by a different name now. I might have to give Hubcap Grill in Houston a shot.
