Link: Fluker Video from Fox news

Who is this "D.J. Flucker"? Way to go Fox 6

Can't wait to see DJ, AJ, and hopefully Dre in Crimson!

Not only will Fluker make for some great highlights on Saturdays, but sounds like he'll make for a good interview - after his freshman year of course.

Man, they misspelled his name on the site ... I hate crap like that, especially since I have the same last name. I've seen and heard everything from "Fluckner" to "Shukner"

I'm pretty sure soon enough they'll know how to spell it backwards when he starts to contribute on campus. lol

What are the chances this cat plays on the D-Line. Not necessarily at NG but at one of the DE positions? What's his footwork look like? Is he quick or just some big lumbering mass-o-man?

think its bad now wait until the cbs twins get a hold of it.

It looks like he has amazing feet for a big man. And a size 22 is enormous. As big as he his, he may still yet grow into his feet. Scary, just scary.

He is an excellent athlete and could dominate on either side of the ball. Nick actually loves him on defense but a lot of people think he is destined for Canton as an OT.

That news reporter didn't commit any recruiting violations by giving Big DJ all of that food, did he? Just kidding, but seriously.:p_eyes:

I believe he has more potential as an OT than anywhere else, but you're right he could wind up on either side of the ball and he'll most likely be a difference maker. I'm hoping he winds up on the OL though. :)

WOW... That is amazing... I had seen the pic of him standing next to his own teammates before in the Foley uniform but again - WOW... Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought we were recruiting him for DL???:BigA:

Early on in the process it was thought that D.J. Fluker would play DT at Bama. This season at Foley Fluker was switched to LT. He played amazingly well all this season, including an outstanding performance at that position in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic. It looks like he will almost certainly play OT at Bama. Of course that is up to CNS and staff and probably will have a lot to do with the team needs and if any more top rated OTs are signed on NSD.

I think our needs will ultimately dictate that he play OT. With the style of O we're going to play under Nick, we need bulldozers like this guy making gaping holes for Trent Richardson and Glenn Coffee to run through....I guess my only concern is how good of a pass-blocking guy is he, considering his career will probably mirror that of AJ....
