Uncle Lou made a video saying Alabama was the loser in the Tennessee hearing. Good to know he is making videos between the court cases for his latest DUI. 🤣🤣🤣
I actually just watched the video…. Surprisingly I agree with about 90% of the video. Can’t believe it. The only thing I differ with is that our defense has been built by Kirby Smart. But he is a typical Georgia mouth breather so what do you expect.

But again Alabama fans on the internet have been making insane conspiracies and mapping out how Pruitt is going to return and save alabama. A lot of it stems from click baiters like Stephen M Smith and his ilk to people posting crap on the Rant and TI where things are lightly moderated for accuracy. More or less many Alabama fans starts to believe the nonsense and goes spouting it as gospel on the forums and YouTube and people hit back hard when the truth is revealed. Lou’s audience isn’t full of a bunch of reasonable and informed fans so you can bet he has been having the nonsense thrown at him since Golding left.

I am over the whole Pruitt thing. I have full confidence that Kevin Steele can get the job done. I think when it comes to Steele people obsess over that 2012 orange bowl too much. A game over 10 years ago But seemed to forget that Steele basically saved Gus Malzahn's Job again and again and again. Cole Cubelic even said that he believes Steele has evolved as a defensive coordinator.

If the defense looks like I believe they will this fall I'd bet dollar to donuts 95% of those still pining for CJP will be silent, if not outright vocal CKS supporters...
He wasn't my first pick, but if he gets the job done then so be it...........I'm sure he will do a heck of alot better than Golden Boy..............Pruitt's first mistake was ever taking that job, and his second mistake was involving himself in the whole money in the bag thing.............but I've always suspected Phil was behind it and skated, and Pruitt walked right into it...........

In documents obtained by Knox News, Pruitt claims he broke NCAA rules because of George Floyd’s death, COVID and mental health. Specifically, Pruitt claims racial inequity following Floyd’s death is what drove him to give a player’s mom $300 in a Chick-fil-A bag because she was struggling financially.

Pruitt, as an explanation for history of large cash withdrawals while at UT, states he had always made those types of transactions going back to his days in Tuscaloosa.

As I’ve said in previous posts, CJP isn’t “the sharpest crayon in crayola box”.

“The report, citing documents obtained through open records requests, revealed - among other things - that Pruitt cited his bank records to show his “cash-driven lifestyle dates back to his time at Alabama.”

It should be noted the report in no way mentions any wrongdoing by Pruitt at Alabama where he served as the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator.”

CA, they have a fundamental problem that only coaching and culture can cure. They were not capable of getting pressure with three defensive linemen last year which is why they went to that mess that used 31 & 15 as defensive ends----which destroyed their ability to stop the run. That is what I'm hoping the JC/JB dust up was about---an attempt to change culture in the DL room. The secondary is in as good a shape as they can be given today's rules, as long as their first concern doesn't have to be filling running lanes.

I suggest we focus on the one part of this story that might give us a little insight into why the NCAA hit UT with a fine approaching $9 million.
Pruitt got six years.
Bethany Gunn got 4 years.
Chantryce Boone got 10 years.
10 YEARS???
Who is Bethany Gunn, where did she come from and to whom does she connect?
And more importantly, who is Chantryce Boone, where did she come from and to whom does she connect?
If you read through the allegations you will not find Boone mentioned in an allegation that Gunn is not mentioned in. You will, however, find Gunn mentioned in allegations Boone is not mentioned in. Something smells here.

Bethany Gunn

Reading the text messages pretty much shows why everyone got what. I can’t link them because of language but it’s a staff full of morons who thought they wouldn’t get caught doing what they were doing.

But others will spin it that way..................even though the compliance department put clamps on him and others. And Saban would have had his head on a platter if he caught him

Pruitt was really dumb

Yeah I’m kinda at the point of giving up trying to show logical reasoning on Pruitt. A show cause has more teeth than what people believe as it doesn’t just mean it’s a penalty on the coach but also on the athletic department that hires him. It is openly inviting the ncaa to snoop around every sports team in your department.

I think someone may take a chance on Pruitt during the show cause but I have my doubts that Alabama will. Remember Saban tried to hire Freeze who didn’t have a show cause but Bryne said no. I think this situation presents too many headaches for bryne for him to allow it to happen.
I think the reason people don’t take show causes seriously is that nobody ever seems to get bit by them.

Of course a lot of those people believe that the NCAA is out to get Alabama, but they still want to test the waters by hiring someone with a show cause.

Show causes are serious, to say otherwise is to indicate that one really doesn’t understand the full impact of them. Everyone wants to bring up Bruce Pearl and how Auburn still hired him. Auburn only had to deal with show cause consequences for basically 2 months. So it’s not exactly 6 years of constant training, reporting, and bowing to the NCAA’s demands.

If Alabama were to hire Pruitt then we would have 6 years of the NCAA monitoring our football and basketball teams looking for foul play. You can bet dollars to donuts that they would try to pin something huge to us to show that they still have some power.

Most show causes are 1-3 years in an effort to correct an action Pruitt’s was pretty much to prevent him from coaching in the near future.
