They sound like Awbren fans to me.If it's possible, I hate Oklahoma State more than Texas. How would you like to live in the same state as those vermin? There is no more envious, jealous, spiteful fanbase in college football. After tough losses in BCS championship games, every single OSU fan I encountered, on message boards, emails, or in person, every one had this huge smile, overjoyed to tell me how much they enjoyed watching the Sooners get beat. I had a mental picture of a bunch of pixies holding hands and dancing around. They had the nerve to question why Sooneer fans wouldn't root for them against Stanford. I'd root for the Taliban if they were playing OSU.
Ignore 'em, they'll savor their one and only good season in my lifetime for years.
Wishbone, I know you're a good friend here but I hope someone other than me recognizes the full on irony in the above passage. To be fair there's plenty of hyperbole from the Bama fans here to balance out your irony. After tough losses in BCS championship games, every single OSU fan I encountered, on message boards, emails, or in person, every one had this huge smile, overjoyed to tell me how much they enjoyed watching the Sooners get beat. --- They had the nerve to question why Sooneer fans wouldn't root for them against Stanford. Don't cry, Mac. You lost.Oklahoma State: Little Mac
Alabama: Mike Tyson
Swap OSU with Auburn and you will understand what its like to deal with Barners. Its called an inferiority complex, both OSU and the Barn have it.If it's possible, I hate Oklahoma State more than Texas. How would you like to live in the same state as those vermin? The loser is who he would have been playing if he had been the #2 ranked team. What he doesn't see is that he would have been beaten 40-50 points by the winner, and 20-30 points by the loser. All bridges should be closed in Stillwater, these people are obviously out of their minds. I like how they believe that they could've whipped either team last night.
Hey Pokes, FYI....your defense is absolutely horrendous. You would not have stopped either one of us last night. And I don't care how many times Gundy wanted to pass, both teams would've played solid defense and crammed the ball down his throat. After listening to his comments I came away wondering who he actually thinks "didn't" belong in that game. I mean, he's arguing that he could've beat the loser worse than we did........what does that even mean?
Here's the deal, Oklahoma State had everything lined up perfectly for them and THEY BLEW IT. That is what's really eating at them. Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon are leaving and this was their best chance ever to get in to the BCSCG and they choked.
Well actually in 2007 lsu did lose to Kentucky and an unranked arkansas team but went on to jump 5 other teams to move into the #2 spot in the BCS so never say never.....Enough of this. ISU lost 7 of its final 10 games, 6 of those by double digits. That was a bad loss to a bad team. A comparable SEC loss would be Mississippi State or Kentucky. If Bama or LSU had lost to the likes of Mississippi State or Kentucky there is no way they would've been in discussion for the BCSCG this season... why does OSU think they deserve preferential treatment.
OSU finished 107th in total defense. The most comparable team to OSU in the SEC was Arkansas. Arkie & OSU had 2 common opponents. OSU beat TAM by 1 point, Arkie beat TAM by 4 points. OSU beat Kansas State by 7 points, Arkie beat them by 13 points. LSU and Bama DESTROYED Arkansas. The question if Bama and OSU played isn't how would the defense handle OSU's high powered but one-dimensional offense, the bigger question is would Bama's punter ever see the field against OSU's 107th rated defense (the answer is probably "no").
Nothing to see here, move on.
+1 Everything you state Wishbone is true. One outright conference championship in the last 60 years and now they are world beaters. They call OU's series with osu as a rivalry. Rivalry? One team has beaten the other team 17 times in 106 years of football is a rivalry? If this was about people instead of fb teams, OU would be charged with assault and battery. If it's possible, I hate Oklahoma State more than Texas.
