NIL and extended playoffs. I said it awhile back you start paying players and everything changes. Teams just are not motivated every game like they used to be and just go through motions some games. You never use to see unranked teams beat the top teams now it happening all the time.

You even run the risk of a one-loss Texas (assuming they win tomorrow) playing it close to the vest with a narrow loss that ensures both they and UGA make it.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but just like that time Stoops punted against Baylor late to make sure his loss wasn't as bad in the BCS eyes, it's what we have.
