Congrats 'Bama fans. It's not often that a game lives up to its pre-game billing. Thse teams play 10 times, each wins five. Two unbelievable defenses. I did think you guys abandoned the run in the 2nd half. That was working the 1st. Beat the peace pigeins next week. A super, fabulous game.

I agree with ya about the run, especially some of the off tackle runs. Although I think the dropped passes hurt more so than anything else!
I must admit I'm a little suprised! I was sure there would be quite a bit of SMACK from LSU fans overloading this board right about now! GOOD LUCK against UGA in the SECCG!

I don't think is was so much that the run was abandoned as it was LSU stacking the box. We ran on 1st down several times that went no where, runs that worked in the first half. It was the drops that killed, it allowed LSU to stop the run. You know you have alot of drops when the guys calling the game are giving a running total. You could really see Brodie's frustration in this one when they would drop a pass.

I agree that the Tide's dropped passes were a huge factor that allowed LSU to tie up the score in the second half. It was a very close game . . . and it was a game that I'm very proud of as a LSU fan.

The LSU punting team's play helped a lot, also.

I will be pulling for the Tide to beat the Barn in the Iron Bowl, just like I do every year.

...but the hangover effect caught up in the form of depth problems on the OL today.Hats off to them for the supernatural effort they have displayed in EVERY game including this one,especially this one.Now, on to Auburn and maybe an upset by one of LSU's opponents will reward them in Atlanta.I'm sad, however,I see a bright future ahead with all these young and talented players they have and the prep players yet to be signed.ROLL TIDE, lets get after the "puddy tats" on the plains. :frown:
