I don't know who is guilty, but I'd assume hamas was shooting the Gazan kids before automatically believing that the Israelis were doing so.
hamas couldn't care less about the people in Gaza. Israel might not care, either, but they weren't the ones building bases and weapons stores beneath hospitals, schools, mosques, etc.
We've gone over this before but here it is again.
I am not aware of any Israeli leader ever targeting children. Period. Show me where an Israeli military officer or civilian leadership said, "The purpose of this strike is Palestinian children. The children are the target." Israel is targeting Hamas and Hamas is hiding behind children, in hospitals, in schools, in mosques.
When a combatant tries to use a protected site as cover, that combatant has removed the protected status of that site. To say otherwise would be to say, "You may engage in war and, if you can hide behind a child, you cannot be struck. You are immune from any counterstrike."
I posted these before but here they are again to illustrate the point. (All these images are AI generated)
Imagine the Germans at Normandy had erected a church in a machine gun position.
The machine gun mows down Allied soldiers, and the Allies are not allowed to shoot back because "it's a church."
The Germans build a field hospital in a bunker:
And the Allies say, "We want to shoot back at that bunker, but we can't shoot at a hospital. Darn it!"
If combatants can protect themselves by hiding behind otherwise protected sites or people, then this is what Hamas will look like forever.
"You can't shoot at me. I've got a baby here." And Hamas' murdering of Israeli civilians would go on and on.
Now, show me where Israel intentionally was aiming at civilians, where the civilians were the actual target, then that would be something different.
Some of you are just not going to blame Israel for anything. That's fine, you have a right to your opinion. I think the article posted by @jthomas666 is pretty damning. I'm not for or against either side because I believe both Hamas and Israel have committed unthinkable atrocities during this war.
I’ll happily blame Israel if/when I see actual proof they’re doing the very things I know for a fact hamas has been doing for years…
TBH, I'm less interested in Israel's alleged atrocities in this war and FAR more interested in knowing how many of our "leaders" in Congress took money from them (or their associated PACs.) Again, Israel conquered that worthless patch of land fair and square and I firmly believe they have to right to defend themselves. However, that's as far as my support goes.
There is no doubt that your statement is a fact. I believe people should look closely as to who Netanyahu is and where this is headed with Iran and the Arab states. Saudi Arabia did not sign a self defense agreement with Pakistan without cause. It is a highly complex situation but the Israeli attack in Qatar impacts the US position in the MIddle East and points to just how far out of control Netanyahu is!
The article posted by jthomas666 is utter garbage. The brutal physics of the matter are that if you shoot a head that small with a rifle, the bullet will not lodge in a head that small. It will explode the skull and scatter the bits of skull, brains, skin, etc., all over the place. Even if you shoot an adult in the head, the bullet will have too much kinetic energy to remain in the body. That is not the way rifle bullets work.

Probably because in other war zones, combatants do not hide behind kids. Hamas does though.
Hamas is relying on Western gullibility to dutifully report "Israeli atrocities" to secure Hamas a toehold in Gaza after the fighting stops so they can intimidate and terrorize the remaining Palestinian population again once humanitarian and reconstruction aid starts flowing in. In fact, this will be Hamas' life's blood for years to come. They are relying on horrific images to get Westerners to force the Israelis stop.
Who is entirely to blame for the October 7th attacks? Hamas.
Who is to blame for the civilian casualties? Hamas.
Who is to blame for the continuation of the war? Hamas.
And the Israeli government has an obligation to the Israeli people to ensure October 7th never occurs again.
All Hamas has to do the stop the bloodshed is to release any remaining hostages, surrender and become prisoners of Israel, or evacuate (if a country stupid enough to accept them can be found). The fighting stops. Palestinians children will survive. Reconstruction of Gaza can begin and life can begin to return to normal.
But if Hamas were to leave, they would never get back in. And they know it.
So Hamas refuses to surrender and/or evacuate so they do the only thing they can do: they hide behind children, release horrific stories/photos, and hope Westerners are gullible enough to urge Israel to stop while Hamas still has enough strength to terrorize and murder Palestinians into tolerating their spoliations once the fighting stops.
Do I want the fighting to stop? You bet you butt I do. I want kids to stop dying. All it takes is for Hamas to surrender. Nothing Hamas is achieving now is worth the cost they are inflicting on the Palestinian people.

This is all true. All of it. I do have to say that Netanyahu, in my opinion, is not helping Israel's cause with what he's doing now and hasn't been for some time. I'm not the only Jew with this opinion, either. Israeli papers publish in many languages since there are Jews all over the world who want to know what's happening. I follow some as well as American Jewish publications. A huge number of Israelis are not at all happy with Bibi or his crew. I shouldn't have say this but, that applies to a great many Jews in the US as well. Even many Zionists (which I am) are angry over the direction Netanyahu has taken.

I am not an expert on this subject, but how is Trump’s “great peace deal ever†any different from the evil Biden’s deal that has also exchanged prisoners for hostages?
In Trump’s deal, the ratio has been 100 Palestinian prisoners for 1 Israeli hostage. In previous Biden deals, the ratio has been 3 to 1 (for women).
