Helmets Always a Good Idea

One of my work colleagues is a motorcycle guy. Over the weekend he crashed in Daytona. Not sure of all the details except that no other vehicle was involved. The best guess at the moment is that he took an off ramp too fast and ended up taking a tumble after overcorrecting. He broke nine ribs and his back in two places and suffered a commensurate amount of road rash. Fortunately, no spine of head injuries. And considering he does not wear a helmet, that is very fortunate.

I always wear one when riding my motorcycles. I even have a Go-Pro bracket on one of my helmets!

i've always been amazed at how few european casual riders don't wear helmets. also, i rarely see people with them on the lime bikes and scooters.

i always wear one, even on my electric kick scooter
