So, what was the final vote count in Florida. Even when you guys were counting Chads and all that, PRESIDENT Bush still had enough votes and that was published and reported by ALL the news medias. Did Jesse Jackson ever publish his results from his indepedant investigation commission on the subject? Just wondering...

Oh sure, the Supreme Court had nothing to do with Dubya occupying the White House.
And Dubya would never mislead the country into a war, or lie to the troops about how long to expect to stay in the war theater. The war is going swell, and there's no national deficit.
And your calling me Chukkie is not juvenile.

J.J. got to 21 and ran out of appendages. I'm glad to see that UpChuck has relented to a Bush victory. I guess Dubya is not juvenile, huh?
Yeah, PRESIDENT Bush invented the deficit, or was it the forty plus years of democrat Congressional rule - I seem to recall deficits then.

Cukkie,
You earn childish remarks made toward you when you can be given facts that disprove your childish unstudied remarks and yet turn around and make the same juvenile remarks again. Fact, even if the Supreme Court had ruled in Gore's favor all the recounts that were taken in the manor that Gore wanted them to be recounted showed that Bush won. What is funny is that in Illinios a far larger percentage of votes not counted but you did not see the Republicans whining about that. Who was it also that didn't want to count the military vote? The democrats. Bunch of hypocrytical whiny SOBs.

I think when you mention veterans in your context you must be talking about decorated war heros like Kerry. What a ton of respect you've shown them.

NOSty, you must have been bored if you're bringing this up again. Anyways, I don't know the exact numbers, nor will I confess to knowing the exact numbers. Each side has their own excuses for what happened in Florida, and regardless what they might say, if voters, say in Texas, had "accidentally" voted for Ralph Nader and thrown the election in Gore's favor, the Republicans would have swarmed that state with every lawyer they could have found.

Bush is President because Gore was too ignorant to take his own home state. You couldn't pay me money to vote for Bush, yet you couldn't pay me money to vote for or support Gore. If Gore had taken his own home state, Florida would have been a dead issue.

Unfortunately for the rest of the country, the race in 2004 is going to probably have a lot of Florida in the advertising and such. The thing people fail to forget is that, even with the numbers Bush currently has, the Democrats will probably still take the big electoral vote states. As a result, I wouldn't be surprised if the electoral win is a pretty slim one.

i'd rather have a hanging chad than a dimpled chad.

Bored? No, just wondering if ANYTHING was ever proven to contradict Pres Bush's slim margin of victory. I definitely got bored with your post right after
