I really, REALLY don't understand the hype about Clausen. He may prove me wrong, but I think he'll be a bust. Kiper really seems to be in his camp, but I just don't see it.

One of his top 5 overall (Clausen) is still out there and unless Miami takes him or someone trades up again, Clausen is a 2nd round pick. And I'm loving it!!

All in all, I'm proud for all the SEC guys...and I'm not necessarily an SEC fan, but I've enjoyed seeing these guys make it, Berry, Haden, Rolo, Kareem, Tebow, Pouncey, and even Spiller from Clemson. Having watched them play in college and seeing them make it to that level is an achievement. I wish them all luck and hope Cody, Javy and Upchurch can join in the fun soon too.

Well, that won't happen. But what guys like Kiper forget is that Bradford and Tebow are winners. Clausen has never won anything of note. Throwing motion, arm strength, whatever...Tebow is full of win. Clausen has yet to show he is. I would rather wait til the mid rounds and take one of those other QB's as a developmental guy than a loser right all the right tools.

Remember, Jim Druckenmiller was considered at one time to be the prototype of what the QB of the future should look like. How did he work out?

While we are on the subject, what are the thoughts on some of our lesser-name players (not that they are lesser players, to me, just not quite at the Rolando/KJ level of notoriety). Guys I am thinking about:

Mike Johnson
Justin Woodall
Colin Peek
Drew Davis
Marquis Johnson

Will these guys be selected at all? I certainly think Johnson will. Would be surprised if Peek is not. Not so sure about the others.

Yeah, a few people thought the Chargers might take him at 28, but they traded that pick, and the Jets could take him, but I doubt it. True nose tackles are rare, but they also aren't in huge demand, so the teams that could use him, can also probably take a risk that they can get him later, since the teams with picks in between don't necessarily need him.
