YouTube TV is offering 4K for $10/mo this year(goes to $30/mo next year). Games on ESPN will be in 4K.
NBC and FOX as wellYouTube TV is offering 4K for $10/mo this year(goes to $30/mo next year). Games on ESPN will be in 4K.
Also, as far as FOX goes, you do not need this YTTV addon because you can use the FOX Sports app to watch their 4K events, using your YTTV credentials. I wish ESPN would do the same.YouTube TV To Air Thursday Night Football, College Football Games, Premier League Matches in 4K – The Streamable

Had never heard of UZZU so I tried to find some reviews. Seems like it is hijacking the feeds and probably not legal...Might want to look into UZZU TV. $8/wk, $20/mo, $120/yr. Ratings are mostly pretty good, if they are to be belived. My daughter says someone on her neighborhood FB watches the Braves and "works great".
Agree completely. If this is an illegal service please delete the post.Had never heard of UZZU so I tried to find some reviews. Seems like it is hijacking the feeds and probably not legal...

This is just a general commentary and not directed at any particular member in this thread:
Just so y'all know my stance on this (and it's one I share with family, friends, and students): lifting these streams "just because you can" or "they don't try to stop me" or "it's easy to do" is, to me, the same as walking into a Publix and taking crab legs.
Somebody created the content (or a legit streaming service) and deserves to be legitimately paid for it.
This site is not legal. Whenever a website has this on the homepage, you can bet they are doing something shady:Might want to look into UZZU TV. $8/wk, $20/mo, $120/yr. Ratings are mostly pretty good, if they are to be belived. My daughter says someone on her neighborhood FB watches the Braves and "works great".
Plus, this is a huge red flag:We are 100% legal and based in States.
If they are not following blackout rules, and are truly based in the USA, then they have not legally signed any contracts with content providers because, no one, not a single TV provider, gets around blackout rules. I mean crap, the MLB can't even get around its own blackout rules for its own MLB.tv service. We are to believe this small time UZZU internet TV provider got this one of a kind, amazing blackout-less deal from MLB/Bally. Riiiiiiiiight. We have no blackout restrictions! simple as that. Not convinced?
They have it now. It's a free app you have to install...YouTube TV works great as long as you have a good stable/high speed internet connection. The only reason I dropped it was the increase in price, I believe they still don't have the History channel (one of the very few non-sports channels I ever watch), and the deal I got with Dish Network was the same price as YouTube TV for more channels and price guaranteed for 2-years. I'm convinced the best thing to do is just be prepared to shop around and drop whoever you have every year or two and take the best deal at the time...
I totally agree that it's ridiculously expensive. I'm set up for it (Google Fiber+Chromecast+LG OLED TV a year or so old), but I think I'll see how the games look in plain old HD first...I think what YTTV is going to eventually charge for 4K ($20 extra a month) is ridiculous. At that point, it is more expensive then local cable options. FYI, make sure your devices is fully compatible with YTTV 4k, if you have the older Apple TV 4K, you are only getting 1440p max:
Also, as far as FOX goes, you do not need this YTTV addon because you can use the FOX Sports app to watch their 4K events, using your YTTV credentials. I wish ESPN would do the same.
Unless you have a huge TV, I think you will be fine.I totally agree that it's ridiculously expensive. I'm set up for it (Google Fiber+Chromecast+LG OLED TV a year or so old), but I think I'll see how the games look in plain old HD first...
I had a conversation with an ophthalmologist about screen resolution and our ability to tell the difference. He said that below 55 we really cannot see much difference. Above that and the resolution does matter...especially if you are younger and have "good eyes." I'm at 55", not so good eyes (developing cataracts and returning astigmatism), and have 1280 -- about the best I can see.Unless you have a huge TV, I think you will be fine.
