Yes, JuCo's count toward the overall rating.I know this is irrelevant, but does this count towards our Rivals and Scout rankings? I really want to keep that top 3 rating...
Can you imagine him as a lead block at FB? I would hate to be the LB that has to take that block on.Good article with a lot of personal facts from his hometown. I like the fact that Cody has trimmed down to 375 with a goal of playing at 350 next season. Apparently he is in fairly decent shape with lots of running and weight lifting. The article says he plays fullback in short yardage situations.![]()
Cody as the tractor, Andre as the trailer. You need 1 yard? Here have 3. Try stopping 700 lbs as it rams into the line of scrimmage. With Cody at FB the formation could truely be called Jumbo.![]()
Someone must have complained about all the 4*'s Bama has gotten commitments from.Must've just happened today... odd
Fair trade, IMO.They dropped Cody's Rivals Ratings from 5.8 to 5.7 (low 4* to high 3*) and raised Damion Square's from 5.6 to 5.7 (middle 3* to high 3*).
That would be ALOT of money:biggrin:Fair trade, IMO.
Square moves so well to be 270 lbs.
Once Cody drops a few pounds, he'll be worth his weight in gold.
Well, we don't actually know what exactly he could handle come in Fall 2008, but I seriously doubt that Coach Saban would've signed on a JUCO player and make him a "project". I just think that he's not going to be used on every play because of his size. He's obviously going to have work his butt off in the weightroom this spring to shed some weight and I'm sure that he will also.I betcha this guy core strength is not up to SEC snuff yet. He's just a big body right now who needs to be honed into big bodied beast.
