I can pull for all other SEC teams from time to time if that helps Alabama or the SEC but I can never pull for AU! I hate AU so much that sometimes I pull for the other team even when it hurts Alabama. I can't stand it if my blue towel gets to close to an orange towel in the shower.

A couple of years ago we when to Florida on vacation and an AU fan parked next to us in his motor home and while I was talking to him my 4 year old daughter started saying "Auburn stinks, Auburn stinks, auburn stinks..." I could not get her to stop saying that and finally had to leave.

But I loved it the whole time.

I will pull for an SEC team in championship situations, baseball, football bowl games, basketball tourney, however, it is so hard to pull for Auburn in those situations. I hope for a tie when Auburn is in that position in any sports.

I can pull for any SEC team when they aren't playing Alabama besides the Viles. Our kid brothers across the state have, admittedly, gotten a little big for their manure-stained britches in recent years but I can still smile and chuckle at the tasteless and unsure way they handle mild success.

These mild successes of our two biggest rivals, are-of course-a direct result of our being on probation and we will soon be able to pull for them again in non-conference games. (As we will re-take our seat as the SEC's Capstone football program in no more than 2 seasons.)

FWIW, Johnny Majors was a class act, and if a decent fella like him gets the UT job when Phatlock gets fired after going winless this year, I would consider adopting them once again as 'kid brother #2.'

Aside from Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU, I don't really pull for any SEC schools unless they're in the postseason tournament/match/meet of their respective sports and if Alabama is not in the same postseason tournament/match/meet of the same sport.

If allbarn and the domers were playing for the NC, I'd pull for the domers. If a giant meteor had to hit the State of Alabama, I'd want it to be in Lee County.....on homecoming day. (Would it be too much to ask for them to be playing the viles on that day?)

The only time I made the mistake of pulling for either one against a team outside the SEC, they lost and let me down anyway.
I usually want the SEC to have a good Bowl record at the end of Bowl season. If the barn or rock flop win, I don't wanna see it happen.

I am generally apathetic towards other SEC schools in football. I will NEVER pull for awbarn, ut, vandy, arky in football.

In basketball and other sports, the apathy sets in and I won't pull for any other teams because I don't care enough. The exception being baseball.....pulling for uga in the CWS. But if it were ut, awbarn, vandy or arky I wouldn't be pulling for them.

I can't pull for Auburn or Tennessee. When an SEC school is playing OOC I always pull for the SEC (excluding the above mentioned schools). When it is an SEC matchup, I generally pull for the underdog when not Bama (also excluding above mentioned schools).

I'm pretty lenient. I can pull for all of them except Ole Siss, Mithithippi thate, LS?, and Barney in the West; and UK, Vandy, UF, UcheaT, and USC in the east. I don't much care for Arkansas or Ga. when we're playing them either. LOL

I'm a long-time reader but this is my first post. Great site; and great job by the moderators.

In non-conference play I pull for the SEC team. Always. Even TN or The Barn. For me, that's part of what makes the SEC special. We can squabble within the SEC family, but close ranks when an SEC team is playing out of conference. Within conference play, I'm for whichever SEC team is opposing Auburn.

Here's hoping the Dawgs win the CWS tonight!
