You would feel bad for him, but you do not because he was a Trump supporter?
That level of hatred is an eloquent argument for a national divorce. It is also probably not good for your soul, either.
As for me, it would appear this young man had a couple of decades to take care of this problem (being inside the United States illegally, even if brought here as a minor child), but did not take care of it and one day, it bit him in the backside. Probably should have taken care of that before ICE showed up on his doorstep.
And this guy's voting behavior has little to do with that.
Well I do feel bad for him and his family and his very young child that he’s been separated from.
He lived in the US since he was 3 so all he ever remembers is growing up and living in Alabama.
The article said he didn’t find out he wasn’t an official American until his Teens.
He’s 26 now so he roughly had about 10-13 years to try and sort it out but didn’t for whatever reason.
Sounds like there was some kind of intermediary program for kids in the situation to pay’s fees to be apart of while working through gaining citizenship and he stopped paying the fees.
He made several other stupid mistakes getting arrested but even still…
He wasn’t some kind of violent criminal and it’s unnecessary to separate a family like that and ban him from re-try for Four Years.
It said at the end if one of his misdemeanors doesn’t get dropped he can’t come back for at least those 4 years.
Sounds like in general he was also trying to turn his life around and was becoming a valued member of his community.
I hope he can persevere and find a way to come back to the only home he knows.
