I'm not sure how well Ohio State fans would travel this year, generally they've traveled well to the Fiesta Bowl (hey, its warm). It isn't like Utah is that far away. I'd assume for a BCS Bowl they'd travel pretty well, but who knows? It sounds good until you consider that Alabama and Texas are two of the best traveling teams in the country (fans). That community makes a small fortune every year during Fiesta Bowl week. I am not sure that you could pay them enough to offset the difference.
Seriously, since OSU has played and lost in the last 2 BCSCGs, they are not going to travel well for a meaningless bowl against Utah - and Utah will not travel well against anyone. How can Glendale make money on that matchup?
I'm just saying this isn't an absurd possibility. It could happen pretty easily. Not saying it will, but I don't think it is unrealistic at all.
