Tebow is not in the running...McCoy is falling fast...I think Bama has their first Heisman winner.
Hey, Barn fans...how does it feel? Despite your best effort, we will have a Heisman winner! (I hope)

Many are saying because of the Auburn game, Ingram is out. They may be right.

However, consider how important Mark was in that game, since AU completely sold out to stop him. Ingram was such a focus that it opened up a lot of other things.

That's a valuable player.

But anyway: Rings for all >>>> trophy for one!!

I think Mark Ingram may win it. Ingram had a huge game against the #1 defense, #1 team. Who else can come close to that performance against a top team? No one else has come up as big in that big of a game.

A lot of the guys with votes are saying the same thing.

With McCoy's first half struggle against Nebraska, all the talking heads are giving Ingram props.

He picked a heckuva time to deliver such a big game!

If the media votes how they report then I think he will win. To alot of them its a what have you done for me lately and lately Ingram just carved up the #1 defense in the country. Also, for some reason( which I don't object at all) they were playing the Ingram got hurt against Auburn but they aren't/weren't harping on the fact it was on the final drive. To many people who didn't watch the game the only thing they have to go with his bad game against the barn is that he was injuried. Thats they vibe I got from ESPN all week at least.

McCoy's stinking up the place, but CJ Spiller's putting on a HECK of a performance. As we speak, he's got 20 carries for 240+ yds and 4 TDs. This doesn't include kickoff returns and catches. On top of that, he's playing with a pretty painful injury (albeit with the help of some pain management injections).

Yeah but look at what Georgia did running against Tech.

Against S. Carolina, Spiller had 18 yards on 9 carries. Ingram had 246 yards on 24 carries. I just don't see how anyone could vote Spiller over Ingram.

McCoy and the entire Texas team looked sloppy tonight, all the better for Mark Ingram.

Clemson's Speiler (spelling) had four touchdowns tonight and looked very good, but they lost to GT.

This looks like our best chance ever to have a Heisman winner.

Spiller did have a good game, but Heisman winners don't come from teams with 5 losses. Same with Gerhart, he's a good RB, but he plays on a team with 4 losses. To me, Ingram ran away with it tonight.

McCoy deserves his hype but to eliminate Ingram b/c of the Auburn game alone is unreasonable.
I believe Ingram wins it. He just scored a record 3 rushing TDs against the #1 defense in the NCAA. There were only 3 tds allowed on the ground all yearby Florida. His rushing stats have come against better defenses in the nation. Virginia Tech, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Florida, Miss St.
This award is about the best player in the country and his contribution to his team against the best players in the nation. All you need to do is look at the best defenses in the nation to see what it takes to compete at the level Mark Ingram has for 13 games thus far. Ingram has consistantly ran against better team defenses and performed well against the ranked the # 1, 8, 12, 13, 28 ,29 and 38 defensive units in the nation currently. These defensive rankings change weekly, but that was the ranking last week. How can you not give it Ingram.....ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!
