Introduce ourselves.

born and raised to hate lsu in slidell, la. developed a love for the tide on my own at a very young age, and chose to go to school there from '97 to '01. currently have numerous family members living in tuscaloosa and make it back there a handful of times each year. now doing my best to follow bama/the sec in big 12 country. i've lurked on this board for many years (as my join date and post count can attest to), and am just now starting to participate. roll tide!!

My dad is Larry Young.... He taught at Coffee up until about 85 or so then went to Bradshaw. Glad Brian thought he was cool :)

BTW, my dad was a principal at coffee in late 70's / early 80's. My brother and I had jersey's with Greg & Rodney Jarmon's #'s on them :D

I remember Rodney Jarmon well, best high school athlete I'd seen in years. What a disappointment that he blew his chance at Bama. Incidentally, my older son played at Huntsville High with Wes Neighbors and that crowd and played against Coffee when Jarmon was a senior. He returned a fumble for a TD late in game.

Let's see, name is Brad, grew up in Orlando (both parents went to UT, but they loved me enough to send me to Bama). Happily married with three kids in Memphis and run my own business (work in the recording industry).

Richard Talmadge Willingham. Played OG. He tore a knee up his sophomore year and never played again. His claim to fame was going up against Billy Neighbors in practice as a freshman. Their is a picture of my uncle standing next to Coach Bryant in the 1962 yearbook. Kind of funny that a 5'10 205 pound player was a lineman 45 years ago.

I remember Richard Willingham, he was really quite good before tearing up the knee. Actually, at 205 he was a pretty good sized lineman, if memory serves, Sharpe and Fuller both went around 185 and Jordan was, like your uncle, around 205.

Paul D McClain, born in Birmingham, move to CA when I was three, and then NJ when I was 13, and to PA when I turned 17. Both my mother and father went to UAB, but have an uncle who went to Auburn. Have been a Bamaholic all my life, I currently drive a car that is Crimson Red, and my license plate is BAMAFN1.
