Bayless was an original radio guy on The Ticket in Dallas. The station is still really popular here but none of the guys like him any more. Always treated them like he was too good for them. Anyway, they were taking shots at him yesterday regarding the 1.5M, saying that is a weird amount to offer. Why 1.5M? Why was it not just 1M? It was pretty funny.

Skip supposedly offered $1.5 million to a girl for access to the forbidden fruit, which is far more than he’d pay for the average escort in Dallas (l bring this up not from experience but because Skip has written several Cowboys books and knows where to find the girls).

Skip plays the role of the Oklahoma bumpkin on TV. I’d like to believe anything bad about him. But as Lewis Grizzard said about Jimmy Swaggart, “If l made $40 million a month l promise you I’d have wound up with something a lot better looking than that sweat hog he had in the motel room.”
