I got banned from ITAT years ago./ Could someone go there and try to get an over/under on how many more games it will be before they give up a mile of yardage? They're playing FAU next week, so there's a slim chance it won't happen until the week after. :biggrin2:

After three games they only lack 157 yards allowed to have given up one mile of defense. Even FAU will do that.

Wonder what their recruits for 2012 are thinking with them having a meltdown over losing. If /or when we lose our next game, I hope we conduct ourselves with a little more class than the barn.

One would hope, but there are always that cadre of "the sky is falling and we'll never win another game" folks who like to overshare their angst.

There is a loud mouth barner at my job who is wearing her $cam jersey today and saying that the barn is still "very much in the BCS National Title race". Seeing as how this is "only one loss".

Technically, she' right, at the moment. But practically speaking, not realistic. Another loss or two and the jerseys will be returned to the cardboard boxes and put back in the attic.

Remind her of 2004 and tell her that only LEGITIMATE teams can go to BCS games with one loss.

Don't look for Ted Roof to be gone so quickly. His first hand knowledge of the 'shenanigans' going on down there will buy him so wiggle room. Auburn's defense is atrocious, if Roof is not fired at the end of the season it's a sure bet he has some dirt on the program.

That better be true considering where they lie in conference rankings for defense. I could post a bunch of stuff, but I will just leave the link that shows all the stats.

Let's see.............they average giving up more yards, per game, than we have given up for 3 games, total (534 avg. vs 510 total).

I love it!!!!!!!!!

Last week I put up a status on facebook comparing both offenses and defenses. I showed them on the 12th how much better our offense and defense actually was.

"The No. 5 defense in the land or No. 111? The No. 39 offense or the No. 66? What would you rather have?"

They were all up and down my page because of the little win over Mittippi Tate. All I said was if Chris Relf would have just reached his arm out they would be singing a different tune. I guess I was right because nobody is saying anything now, nor were they saying anything on my trip from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa. Now their defense is 117 out of 120. Just pure garbage. They couldn't tackle a dummy, but they could learn a lot from one.

I really don't care what Auburn does as long as they are not playing Bama or their outcome doesn't affect Bama's success. Tennessee is a different story .... they need to always lose.
Then why read and post in a thread specifically about AU?
