Figured I'd see what's up over there. Major points of interests:

1. They are hating on T. Roof. Want him fired ASAP.

2. They are already turning on Cheeze Nip cause they know he's ultimately responsible for the D.

3. Some are even upset with Gus and his play calling.

4. The funniest thing is one person said that "Cam couldn't have even saved this game." What only a few of them realize is that this team is basically Auburn in 2010 save Cam and N. Farley on defense. I've never seen a team that was so good with two players and so bad without them.

5. Did I mention they are upset with T. Roof.
SIAP - but you are dead wrong on this point. Auburn lost 35 of their top 44 contributors from last year. They didn't just lose Cam and Nick. You don't suffer those kinds of losses and recover in one season. I predicted a 5-7 season for them months ago, and i now think they're still on that pace. The only ones they'll be favored in from here on is FAU, Ole Miss and Samford. They don't have a defense that can stop a good high school team.

Can't dispute that they didn't lose more than just Nick and Cam, but let me put it like this: There is no way they lose the game against Clemson IF Cam is running that offense and if you where to add NF to the defense, I sincerely doubt games one and two would have gone down to the wire. That's all I'm saying.

Even with all of those 35 contributors that they lose last year they gave up over 24 points per game. Their defense really hasn't gotten any worse...they just aren't making the game changing plays in the 3rd and 4th quarter that they made last year by Fairley. If he doesn't sack GMac and force a fumble in the red zone...we probably score and put the game away (obviously based on the final score).

They willed themselves to victory in weeks 1 and 2 with amazing plays at the end...but they just don't have that game changer like Fairley who they can count on week after week on the defensive side.

I'm going to make a bumper sticker:

HONK IF YOU SCORED MORE THAN 30 ON AUBURN
I am interested to see what FAU puts up on Auburn. They have a total of 3 points in their first 2 games and AU is giving up over 30 per game. If FAU scores 30 I may need medical attention to stop the laughter.

I read it...somebody reads Tidefans over there because they used one of my quotes in there from the barn/Clemson gamethread for the barner meltdown, lol...
I love reading those...

BTW, the Tuesday Meltdown is up at Roll Bama Roll. I won't link it because of the language, but it's a doozy. Ole Miss, tOSU, and the Barnyard.

 Fun stuff. My favorites (they are clean) are:

From an Auburn fan on their defense

1st Game: 400 yards
2nd Game: 500 yards
3rd Game: 600 yards
No worries folks, we making progress
From an Ole Miss Fan

Find fat kid who loves Xbox. Winner of NCAA Football 2011 Tournament. Probably has yellow stained fingers from cheetos. Put him in the press box with an Xbox. Let him call punt block on 3rd and short. Go for it on 4th down every time. Throw Hail Marys at random times. Lets win some games.

Well maybe AU can get that Spread Defense fixed this week with Florida Atlantic before they make the trip to Columbia. Somebody remind me what happened the last time AU and USCe met? (Seem to recall it was in ATL maybe...)

Good thing the Ol' Ball Coach never holds a grudge or runs up the score. :biggrin2:

Was just thinking about the last time AU and Arkansas met. Petrino seems very forgiving though.
