Adrian Hubbard logged time at both spots last season. Coach Thompson has stated that the skill set that Dickson and Hubbard bring to the table will allow the positions to be mirror images of one another this coming season.I believe Adrian was playing a lot of SAM at the end of spring and Dickson was at Jack but that may have been situational and not what happens on Satudays' in the fall.
As I stated earlier in this thread, Coach Saban's ground work in the D.C./Baltimore/Northern Virginia area is really starting to pay off. The state of Virginia is loaded for the 2014 cycle. They have three national top ten prospects alone.I had another thread about this guy yesterday possibly committing but I'll repeat what I said about him in that. I think he's comparable to Nkemdiche in ability and the reason he's not rated above RN is size with JA being 225 and RN now at 270-280. He's a very special player and thrilled that he's committed to UA. Hope this opens the pipelines in VA for next year also.
This. Is. Sick.
Watching the interview with him, it's obvious he has a good head on his shoulders and shouldn't be an attitude, character, or academic risk. I hope he can put on some pounds and keep that quickness. Great pick-up.From The Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...-over-florida/2012/05/21/gIQAbLqbfU_blog.html
I dont think he meant it like you took it. The reality is that Hargreaves is a lean for florida...no sure thing, but probability is that he will stay local. and he's spot on that Adams prefers a 4-3 defensive set.And Keenan Allen would never go to Cal of all places, and TJ Yeldon was the next Bo Jackson down on the plains, and Noel Devine was going to lead FSU back to prominence, and there's no way Lache Seastrunk would end up anywhere other than USC or LSU, right? It was only a little over a year ago with Cyrus Kouandjio chose Auburn on national TV and shocked everyone. Luckily he changed his mind.
All I'm saying is, never say never. You know as well as I do that there are no "sure things" in recruiting. It's only May of 2012, it's a long time until Feb 2013, and we've already got 2 of the top 7 defenders in the country on board, and we lead for a 3rd.
I know that 3-4 is our base D set, but don`t we bounce to a 4-3 as well depending on situations?I dont think he meant it like you took it. Just reality. Our class is goign to be super, just not a list of the top ten natonally.
Yes we do. Running teams we are in base set, passing we run everything else. But we are able to mask a lot of things.I know that 3-4 is our base D set, but don`t we bounce to a 4-3 as well depending on situations?
They are recognizing Allen as an outside linebacker now.247 said just not too long ago that Allen was the #1 weak side end now they says Carl Lawson has gone from being a 4 star to 5 star and is number 1 now. Strange!
