Where is the "panic" that some are posting about? Maybe I'm mis-reading these comments. I just don't sense any panic in the comments on this thread.

Sark is a big loss; but I think O'Brien will do fine.
Losing Flood hurts; but Stoutland will more than make up for that.
Banks? We'll miss his recruiting in TX; but that can be overcome.
Golding? Addition by subtraction??? ;)
Wait. Stoutland is coming back? Hadn’t heard that. Excuse me while I do a happy dance.

I dont think they will leave................I've read quite a few articles where they talked about playing for Saban, and their parents spoke about Saban. Dont think you have to worry about them leaving.................cant wait to see them play
Coach Saban is the closer on all of these recruits. He and his program are who/what all of these guys want to play for and learn from. He is the legend; not the assistants.

Once again we are being gutted by assistants on the move.
Hope we get on the ball recruiting quality coaches.
We will be hurt in Recruiting, and the lag while the new coaches buy into the system. How it translates to production on the field is yet to be seen.
I hate it, but that is a part of football these days, just like the Transfer Portal.
The sooner we have new boots on the ground the better.
Go get em Coach.

Ok so who is going and who is rumored to be coming? I’ve only see rumors of O’Brien and Stoutland coming so far for the offense and Golding maybe be going. All of this is making my head spin.

Seriously doubt this story. If Saban said no Sark would tattle to the coach to create poisonous environment. Saban isn’t dumb enough to play this game.
I don’t see ‘ No’ anywhere in my response. , it said Nick wasn’t happy with Sark. I don’t think there would be any ‘tattling’ , I’m sure Sark already Phad conversations with the other assistants, so they probably already know if Sark wanted to offer a job. Nick wouldn’t allow a toxic environment on his coaching staff. Especially after 2018! We already know of a couple of coaches Sark wanted to take that didn’t go! I’m sure if they wanted to leave because they weren’t happy, any assistant in Tuscaloosa could find another job!

Its like Saban and Sark worked out some deal and Bank was a surprise new... I wouldn't necessarily put all fo this on Sark... I think Bank gave his word saying he is not going anywhere and changed his mind.

I think a $300,000 pay increase and being closer to home will do that!

From a 247 Sports article. An honorable approach by Urban Meyer.

In his introductory press conference with the Jaguars, Meyer was asked about hiring staff members from his most recent program, Ohio State. Meyer said that he might bring one person down from Columbus but didn’t want to be too disruptive to the Buckeyes.

"I talked to Gene (Smith) and I talked to coach (Ryan) Day and I won’t (raid their staff)," Meyer said. "I’m not there yet. That’s the best infrastructure in college sports. I’m not touching, there might be one that will leave, but I’m not going to do that to that organization. Ohio State is home to those guys now."
Sarkisian hasn't been too bad so far taking only Flood (completely understandable) and Banks (a little irksome). Don't know if he has tried for more and was turned down or has backed off. Hopefully, the latter.

CLARIFICATION: tOSU adjunct faculty advisor Meyer meant to say he didn’t want be “Re-disruptive” to the program, just as he would say, penitently of course, about his disciplined run in Gainesville

Guys - Meyer is a Buckeye. He is from Ohio. He was a DB and wasn't good enough to get an offer from OSU, so he played at Cincy, but his first love has always been the Bucks. Earle Bruce gave him his first shot in college football as a GA at OSU. Unlike RichRod, he wants to be able to come home some day. He is not going to burn down the house behind him.

But my one concern is that he might take Larry Johnson. Johnson has been an assistant head coach for a long time, under Meyer and now Day. He is ready for a bigger job somewhere.
