Did anyone else just see Jim Rome is burning? He just said that Miami is better than us and that we better be thanking the poll voters that they didn't put us below Penn State because they are, in his opinion, better than us. He also said we haven't scared anyone since Tyrone Prothro went down and we haven't scored an offensive touchdown since then. I usually like Jim Rome but I think he went a little overboard with that. We have scored offensive touchdowns since then, but i guess he didn't see the Ole Miss game or Utah State. I guess we will see who will be scared after this weekend and next.

It's one man's opinion and a justifiable one. Jim Rome tells it like he sees it and lets the chips fall where they may. I respect him for that.

yes, i watched rome and he is right about alabama not playing good offense right now. but, he is wrong about miami, being the better team. they lost to fla state who have lost to two average teams so far, virginia, and i forget the other, they went to overtime to beat mighty north carolina. they beat va tech, which i believe is over rated. if alabama could find their offense for the LSU game it would shut up so many media people.
The thing that gripes me is if Team A goes 11-0, and beats everyone 10-7 and 13-10.....they are NOT a good team.
But if Team B goes 11-0. and beats everyone 31-24 and 42-35 ..... they are a great team.
How many times did we hear VT and Vick could beat USC and Texas. What happened to their GREAT O?

we'll see what he has to say after we shove LSU all over the field like Jim Everret did to Rome back in the day.
I've heard him on the radio and he is a lot more vocal on the radio than on TV. He rates us behind Penn St. and to be honest he bothers me.
Who cares what Jim Rome's opinion is? It's like really caring what anybody says...as long as we keep winning, the rest will take care of itself. Also, if we can't go to the Rose Bowl, let's take on Miami, ND or Penn State and let them all see what a real defense is like! Miami has played two teams that count and they are 1-1 against them and they had to go to OT to beat a lousy Clemson team. To me, Va. Tech was WAYYYY over rated! They barely beat Maryland who has been crap this year. Jim Rome is an idiot with a microphone.

If we beat LSU, Auburn, and Georgia; then I am going to be a loud voice of discontent about the BCS and ANYBODY that doesn't think we deserve to play in the Rose Bowl.

Jim Rome is a jackass. I am so sick of not getting respect from the media. All we do is beat whoever we face. Until we lose, which may not be until next year, we deserve recognition. I've heard some analysts say that we're lucky to be even in the top 10. That's BS. To steal the Raiders line: Just Win Baby!!!
