I have great appreciation of people with great modeling skills. I have a model that has been on display at the Union Pacific Historical Society since 1996.

No doubt, you can make models as an individual. I don't know where the line is crossed, where Bama can get into trouble with the NCAA. Until then, I will treat you as a troll and suggest that other Bama fans follow.

Earle and other moderators, please weigh in.

Dude, chill. The University Of Alabama will not be punished because some random guy just happens to have a hobby re-painting models. And even so, it's not like the NCAA would say, "Yeah, but some other random dudes on the internet treated him as a troll - so everything is cool!"

+1

Great work. No idea how you do this stuff. A little background on the process would be a fun read.

Do you have any links? I'm huge fan of model railroading and I'm hoping the next house we buy will have enough space for me to build a layout.

Dude, I'm chilling fine. Also, I'm gellin' with my Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel inserts.

I'm not comfortable with anything which might cause Bama to lose a player for a game or more, while we wait on NCAA to rule. It is not so much what the NCAA would say. But, the wait for them to say, "No harm. No foul." Have problems with textbooks, innocent fishing trips, etc. been forgotten? Not by me!

I believe in Bama football art as much as anyone. However, this original poster is new to this board and has started threads about two Bama stars. Indeed, the subject artwork of both threads has commercial value. I am not even concerned board rules could be bypassed via P.M.s and links to other sites. Moderators have insisted in the Ingram art thread the artwork is not for sale.

I am definitely not a negative person. I expect Bama to go 14 - 0. A carry-over from Coach Bryant's era. In this case, perhaps, I'm the devils advocate. I prefer to say, I march to the beat of a different drummer.

Edited to post: My original post was before I noticed bayou tider's post. Nevertheless, I prefer caution.

Nobody likes a braggart! ;)
I have a few paintings I threw together during a few halftime games last year while simutaneously playing beer pong with my native born naturally gifted right hand that are on display at the louvre art gallery in Paris. ;)

The NCAA states the players can not make money off their names or likeness, I highly doubt this is Mark Ingram and Julio Jones on here posting models they themselves made to make money.

The NCAA can say nothing to a fan about making these models as long as he/she is not selling them for profit. Not one post has said anything or even implied that these models are for sale.
