The SEC Commisioner threatened suspension. What could they actually suspend? Could they suspend him from coaching for a few games? Somebody?????
He started all of this foolishness by saying there should be a rekick. After rewatching the replay several times, the clock was clearly at 0:00 when he took his helmet off.I wish Slive could reprimand Danielson! He needs someone to put him in his place. :biggrin2:

You bet your bippy he can. He can ban him from the SEC if he thinks it's in the league's best interest. The SEC Commisioner threatened suspension. What could they actually suspend? Could they suspend him from coaching for a few games? Somebody?????
I think this public statement.......is exactly why he is in major trouble. I'm sure Slive has had enough of this attitude. If he opens that mouth again and talks back to the SEC and what they do, the SEC will take action. I would like to know is what exactly the SEC has the power to do, can they take away TV coverage???? He would really throw a temper tantrum if they can actually pull his TV rights.
South Carolina, of all people... :smile:If there's anyone who can bait CLK into opening his mouth to say something stupid, I'd say it would be Spurrier.
Who does UT play next?
Tears of a ClownKiffin also said he decided to let the clock run down instead of trying to run another play before the kick because he was concerned about the officiating.
"You run another play and you throw an interception or they throw another flag on us -- I wasn't going to let the refs lose the game for us there and some magical flag appear," Kiffin said.
They can suspend him for games, or off-campus recruiting visits, or any number of things (including appearances, etc.).The SEC Commisioner threatened suspension. What could they actually suspend? Could they suspend him from coaching for a few games? Somebody?????
What I can't believe is that there are actually Tennessee fans out there defending his behavior. Doing so is the height of being intellectually dishonest about one's program and is truly we'll-forgive-anything-as-long-as-we-win behavior.
