It appears to me you are implying my "wording" seems to suggest I must agree with what he did. But I don't.
I don't know what else to say to your continued questions about this.
I don’t necessarily agree with the calls to not kick the field goals but the one fourth down the WR dropped an easy catch. The cornerback has an interception hit him in the helmet that goes for a 50 yard pass. Then Gibbs fumbled and gave the 49ers ball right back. Next series easy completion and first down and WR drops a big play again. The players lost the game just as much as the coach did.
The thing that makes me sick is that we had a weapon like Gibbs. Did we make the most of him? I think not.
I'm with you. I never bought the idea that half of a multi-part statement should automatically be discarded because of the other half.
By acknowledging the classless of the dad's statement, you should be able to get past it and talk about the content. There is no reason to dwell on the presentation to the exclusion of everything else.

He said the same things about Baker Mayfield in Cleveland when OBJ played there and now he is flapping his internet gums about Lamar.
He is worthless and I cannot even stand the Ravens (Rats) but he crossed the line.

Is this really true? A lot of GREAT QBs never won a SB.
Lamar Jackson is a phenom athlete and a certain type of qb that most talking head analyst said the Ravens "finally" had an OC that built the offense around Lamar and look how great it is working. The problem (by function) with doing that is all it takes is Lamar having a subpar day and you lose. That is why it is better to run a system and plug talent in the system and tweak here and there based on the talent. Rather than build an entire offense around one player.
There are more and more of these QBs in the NFL. They are legitimately more difficult to defend when they are on.
I think that the NFL is now such a QB driven league that any QB, playing any style of offense, can doom their team with a bad game in the playoffs. The Lions and 49ers are kinda the exception as they still run really balanced offenses. Old school football.
And I would say both the Lions and Niners are built for sustained success by finding some middle ground in their approach.
A QB can be one playmaker to stress the defense with his legs, but if everything is built around him you may be failing to use another 4 or 5 playmakers.
How many yards did our receivers/tight ends have this year? I know it can't be much because the grand total passing was only 2800 yards for JM.
You hate to see it, but if he had been stuck with the Auburnite loser who singlefootedly took GB out of the playoffs, I could at least understand it.
The human element of frustration can also begin to leak into the locker room when a team sport turns into a team functioning/planning almost exclusively around one player. Football is a great example, especially on offense when one player consumes the majority of the "touches" and other offensive players are regulated to blocking or "decoying" for the player. In this day and age of "passing football," teams have to make it a point to keep their WR's involved to keep them engaged and ultimately there. And now with the transfer portal the way it is WR's aren't going to sit there for years and not get the ball. Those days are looong gone.
I don't think I will ever understand the way that analytics have changed the NFL.
How in the world do you pass up a potential 17 point lead with 7 minutes remaining in the third quarter to go for it on 4th and 3 when you're an underdog on the road?
Instead, you turn the ball over at your opponents 30 something yard line, blow momentum, and basically kick yourself in the crotch all in one play.
And didn't he do the same thing earlier?
They gave up 6 points because of some mathematical formula.
It makes no sense to me at all.

Monkens game plan was terrible. Looked like he thought he was still at Georgia and playing an outmatched team.
