I live in Auburn and I hate their school more each day. I've been thinking of making a sign, going to toomers corner, and taking photos with me in my bama garb...i just need to figure out what it will say.

I want the sign to incorporate 36-0, us beating them next year, and disgust for them...any suggestions on the sign?

Or better yet, "Got Saban?" If I was still living there I would go and fan the flames with you! I'll be home for Thanksgiving this year, meaning I'll DEFINITELY be at the Iron Bowl and I want to roll Booger's Corner after we stomp their faces into the dirt. Anyone care to join me?

Ive got a better idea than the sign being made. Since UA's going to have at the very least 50 to 65% of the fans in that pitiful excuse for a stadium
this year in Nov how bought lets rally the troops with the majority and help them out by rolling their own goobers corner for them in beautiful Crimson paper.

You dont need a security number. All you need to do is figure out how to summon and send back a reprogrammed Terminator from the future
to protect you from all of the smelly scum in the cow pasture.

Find some Crimson TP or streamers and roll the tree the right way the night before the game pep-rally, or if you get some inside info on another spontaneous recruiting pep-rally!

In 2001, a group of Bama fans started a rumor that after we won, we'd be heading to Boog Corner with Crimson paper. We never intended to actually follow through with it, but we sure made it sound like we were hell bent on it.

Five minutes after the game was over, there were 578,674,421 Barney Fyffe wannabe's taking up positions all over the square, wearing that scaredy-cat scowl and waiting for the invasion of the Crimson clad infidels.

That was one of the most entertaining moments of my adult life.

I took some pictures of the event, but time and hard drive failures got'em.

IronTiger and his friends (AUEngr84, Shug71, RickyTiger, etc.), started the rumors due to what they had heard. Ultimately, Tuberville was the original source/inspiration for the rumors.

He claimed Saban was cheating to some high profile boosters to explain his lack of recruiting success against Saban. Word spread and filtered down until some delusional barners posted the rumors on ITAT (Auburn's Scout.com site). The original rumor was the DC from GCHS was questioned by the NCAA. Then things took off from there.

Barners, being desperate to believe anything negative about Bama, accepted it as pure fact. they know their best hope is for the NCAA to cripple Bama; otherwise, the sleeping giant has awoken for good.

Seems to me they have simply substituted "Memphis" for "Gadsden," and that it is business as usual on the AU boards.

I think you're right...they are apparently posting on the Vol boards to make it seem its coming from Vol fans thinking it will appear more legit.
Honestly though, the other Bama boards are about as bad, they've got heavy rumors going around about the barn now & some supposed academic stuff involving some addt'l players, including a significant 1st teamer. I dunno...all this gets a little old, and its like high school antics.
I'm continually amazed at how barners supposedly know more about BAMA than we do, and we know more about whats going on at the barn than they do. This seems to be the logic here.

All this hearsay stuff is insane. I am very disappointed that our side has now taken up the same rumor mongering as the other side. I had hoped that our folks would keep things on a higher note. Hopefully, TideFans mods will not allow the same kinds of things that are happening on the Scout board.
The only thing that matters is who wins in November. And, at least for a while, that should be us. We don't have to resort to the loser's wailing and gnashing of teeth a la the barn.

I made one of these in High School. Quick and Effective. You could also post up on the parking deck across from Bourbon Street and use water balloon launchers to sky the crimson paper into the trees.
