I have no idea what to expect next year and not just because our team is kind of up in the air

Is LSU the same team offensive team without Burrow and Chase? Does Brady leave?

Is Georgia better or worse without Fromm? Does Fromm come back?

Just a few of the questions that make next season interesting in the SEC.

That said, Ohio State and Clemson will likely be the top 2 teams in the country (possibly by a wide margin) to start the season.
Fromm is coming back

I think more will come back than we think......

wishful thinking perhaps.... but do we lose Tua, Ruggs, Jeudy, Smith, Najee, Leatherwood, and Wills all as Juniors? Plus Moses, McKinney, and Lewis on Defense as Juniors?

I just think that we lose Ruggs, Jeudy and Wills for sure. I think the others could potentially come back.

Don't sell UT and Pruit short next year. I'm not predicting a loss, but we've got to go there and if they've had success before us, that'll end up being a game to not take lightly.
Cant ever take them lightly, and he will have them going ( will probably be Bama's coach someday as well), but I think he is at least a year or so from being world beaters

As for UGA, even if Fromm comes back, they as well as LSU and AU lose quite a few players so things could be even across the board

I, too, think we will get back more than we expect.

I think Mac's experience at the end of this year will be invaluable next year. If he gets beat out by a freshman next season, then that freshman is better than Tua was his first season...

One of the WRs will come back. I would almost bet on it.

I think we feel a little "burned" with the struggles this freshman class had, but typically there will be a few (numbers vary from year to year) who will be "impact" players. I'd be shocked if next year we didn't return to this.
We got burned out of need due to injuries not from recruiting bad players. Essentially, a quarter of a team will be fresh faces every year and impact players on the D Line, RBs and receivers can make a MAJOR impact for us every year and they do.

You are definitely on to something here and believe Saban's best recruiting job will hinge on keeping some of these guys on campus. Heck, at midseason we thought we would have 3 receivers go in the first round.

Hmm, I wasn't saying we didn't recruit good players. I meant that the freshmen that played this year largely didn't make the same kind of impact we are accustomed to a few freshmen making. I think part of that was due to where some of these freshman got plugged in due to injuries (thinking especially the two freshmen linebackers). Maybe that's what you were talking about, but I don't think they were bad recruits but linebacker is a hard position to plug and play, especially under CNS.

That and Lee is a run stopper not a coverage LB, just not fast enough even though he hustles. Isnt it true Harris never played ILB before this year?
