I have a 2015 Accord (4 cyl) with a shade over 200k on it. It's started this stutter shortly after taking off in it to drive. Doesn't keep doing it, it'll hit and stop and won't come back. Never did it at high speeds. It happened 3 days in a row and then didn't do it for a couple months. Started again for a couple days and we wondered if we got bad gas. I put dryer in it with a fresh tank of gas. Ran a couple tanks through it. It did it again but again wasn't consistent in the stutter. Last Monday my wife takes off to work and while on the interstate it got real bad and the check engine light came on, then off, then on, then blinking. She got off the road and parked it till I could get to her. I cranked it and the check engine light is off. Drove it to a parts store to get the computer scanned and it stuttered on me multiple times getting there. They checked the computer and it's clean as a whistle, no codes, even after the check engine light had come on. Drove it home and it behaved like a brand new car.
I've since replaced plugs, coil packs, and cleaned the MAF sensor. Test driving after each one, and each time, I got the stutter. I've been told to check the fuel filter but I have learned it's non-serviceable, as it's in the fuel pump.
If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to them. I'm hoping I can correct whatever this is and not have to take it to a mechanic.
