i kno i dont post on here often and maybe that takes a cut at my credibility...anyway...recruiting doesn't win ball games. yes CMG is a great recruiter, but what do we have to show for it ultimately? yes we have won a conf. Championship and i ran out on the court with many of our crimson tide brethren in celebration, but we are faaaar from that in the next few years. as far as us having a young team, Tennessee has a young team, they are doing well, Maryland has a young team, Duke, Arizona, man we could go on...young teams win just as well as some veteran teams, and that is showing this year. as far as our dominance at home, maybe our team has just expected to win at home, we arent as stellar this year in CC. i enjoy this team, they have flashes of brilliance where i find myself thinking 'omg we can play with anyone', but then we have times, more often than not, like in the second half of the UK game last night, where we just look lost, running around the court. i just have to wonder what CMG is doing in practice to prepare. i DONT know and i realize i am in no position to speculate, but i am in every position to wonder. i guess bottom line, we have the talent to compete hard no matter who we play, and at times we do. but the foundation of our game seems to not change year in and year out. consistency is what i am looking for, and not negative consistency.
