mccarron is a really good game manager....thats what coach saban wants. but all i'm saying is our QB is gonna hafta win a game (or two) for us this year......and please dont be so literal about it by saying 'well he's already won all the games this year'. you know what i mean......whether it be lsu or *u, one of our opponents is gonna shut our run game down and their O is gonna put up enough points on the scoreboard to put us behind. thats when aj will not be able to be protected by our running game or our D. and i think he will be up to the challenge. your thoughts?

With each passing game, though, I'm getting more and more confident in his ability to do that. Throw for 450 yds? Nah. Lead us on a crucial, late-game drive completing key passes? I can see him doing that by the end of the season (if not earlier).

I'm not worried. This defense is playing at the level of the '92 defense. Jay Barker was a redshirt soph that year, just like AJ is this year. And he made several more mistakes than AJ has thus far. We'll be fine. AJ will be fine.

Celebrate the W. I'm not sure that someone will be able to do the two things it requires to cause AJ to win the game... Stop the run and score on our defense. Doing both of those is difficult.

more games he plays the better he'll get. The thing I see is he tends to throw the ball behind players too much. Hopefully that will improve over time.

Hey RJ. AJ can do it. AJ has a good feel for the pocket and gets rid of the ball better than Gmac thus avoiding sacks. He will only get better. His poise is impressive as well which is why I think Aj can do it. :)

We've already got a scary D, a phenomenal rbs combo. If we gotta a clutch qb, then we are national champion.

We need to work on touch on the deep ball, which oddly enough, I thought was AJ's strong suit. Also, don't make too much of his stat line tonight. I know he completed under 50% of his passes, but a couple of those were intentional. Maze was being held on his routes and AJ put the ball up in his direction to draw the flag...but no flags were thrown. Fact is, we haven't needed to throw to win yet. Looking at some of the throws he is making into tight coverage, and given the fact that our TE is emerging as a real threat, I am confident that AJ has what it takes.

Guys, I agree that our passing game needs work, but if you are holding your breath because AJ hasn't had a 300 yd+ passing game, then good luck. In Nick's system the QB is the ball distributor/game manager and is not going to be asked to throw for that amount. Get used to it....

With no interceptions since week one, plus looking comfortable in a very hostile environment, I’m very pleased already. He is gaining confidence with every game. As a matter of fact, he got a little too cocky tonight (when he started taunting the crowd after the TD), but St. Nick saw him do it and crawled all over him. Hopefully that will be the end of that…

I have watched all of Bama's games and I believe AJ has helped to win all of them.

AJ looks better every week, not sure a late come back will be needed but after getting hit by the Gators first thing this team showed they can TCB

The officiating crews we've drawn so far are the bottom of the barrel in the SEC, except for the crew that came with us to PSU...

Yes, and can someone please explain the fumble play before the FL QB got hurt? What a bunch of of shrugged shoulders type of officials. Nothing ever explained???
