Poor Sanders. I mean his number has been retired, how can he fall out of the first round.
Why they are one of the best teams!!! Their GM gets it. I mean, it's almost like "common sense," right? Get the best players from the best college teams that have championship mentalities!,,,,,, as well as UGA players. HEAVY SEC influence on that Eagles roster.
I was really hoping the Titans would trade back. Ward has BUST written all over him and there are so many areas on the roster that need to be addressed. I think the Giants got the best QB prospect on the board. Definitely a ton of upside with Dart. The funny thing about this draft is the number 1 overall pick would have been at best a second round pick last year.
Yeah, the Titans will be selecting a QB again in the very near future.I was really hoping the Titans would trade back. i'm going to laugh my ass off if that happens and he repeatedly beats the falcons in the benzyep. I think Milroe ends up on the Aints
This is a True statement!Yeah, the Titans will be selecting a QB again in the very near future.
Impossible, maybe you have heard, the Failcons are unbeatable now that they have an uga player.i'm going to laugh my ass off if that happens and he repeatedly beats the falcons in the benz

Apparently, Dart's attending and throwing at the combine changed a lot of teams' opinions about him. He came into the combine with a hard 2nd to 3rd round grade, then once the combine was over, the talks of him potentially slipping into the first round started. Can't believe the Giants traded up for Dart. Not surprised Milroe fell out of round 1 and I think he could fall a good bit further.
If one OC in the NFL knew that virtually all of Alabama's skill players would have hit the portal if Milroe had stayed in Tuscaloosa, all 32 coaching staffs and front offices knew it.Can't believe the Giants traded up for Dart. I think development is an oversold line. There was a famous quarterback guru that was being used by just about everyone at the time that said “quarterbacks either have it or they never will by their second year of college”. You can make tweaks but the game is too fast to make the massive leaps that many envision happening under quarterback coaches. Jalen hurts is the huge exception to this. The Giants did what a lot of draft experts said a team would do if they were truly interested in the pick being a franchise QB. They'd move back up in the late first round and get them there in order to get that fifth year under their rookie contract. Sanders mouth got him booted out of the first round and Milroe's field vision and lack of ability to process the game fast enough sealed his fate to not being a first rounder. But if they can get picked up in the second or third round, get with a team who doesn't need a starter right now, they can develop. If they're asked to start right away, they're probably doomed.
Humble enough to realize he needed to work on things? Cannot be the Eagles coaching since that has changed more times than most people change socksIf one OC in the NFL knew that virtually all of Alabama's skill players would have hit the portal if Milroe had stayed in Tuscaloosa, all 32 coaching staffs and front offices knew it.
It's one thing to have a conflict with a teammate. That happens. But virtually all of the WRs, TEs and RBs? That sends a loud and clear message.
Tangentially related, I am curious as to what changed for Jalen Hurts. In Tuscaloosa, he had virtually the same shortcomings as Milroe -- trouble reading the field, over-reliance on his legs, inaccurate passing, WRs in revolt. Somewhat better at OU, which I attribute to Lincoln Riley. Say what you will about Riley as a HC, he's a really good QB coach.
Today, in the most positive way, Hurts isn't the same player.
What did he do to develop?
JH started his QB ascent when he sat behind Tua. He never had the time to develop in college due to Blake Barnett falling flat Jalen's freshman year. But once he sat out and worked on his game (and probably learned a lot from Tua about the passing game), he was remarkably better when he, ironically, replaced Tua in the SECCG and led us to a win over Georgia, again! If one OC in the NFL knew that virtually all of Alabama's skill players would have hit the portal if Milroe had stayed in Tuscaloosa, all 32 coaching staffs and front offices knew it.

It is, but it still doesn't stop NFL teams from taking chances on highly athletic players. It's just too tempting.I think development is an oversold line.
