Milroe's accuracy

There is this from Tyler Booker just after the Tennessee game. There was a video just above this statement I did not include.

Milroe can be seen limping in pre-game warm-ups here.

On Monday, Alabama captain Tyler Booker was asked by The Next Round if Milroe was playing at 100%.

Booker immediately answered, "Jalen Milroe is 100%."

He followed up his emphatic answer with some clarification,

"Just thinking about it, me just saying - I think I answered it a little too quickly," Booker said. "Nobody is ever going to be 100 percent. Nobody is ever 100 percent. I'm hurting right now. Playing football in the SEC, you're never going to be 100 percent. What I meant to say is Jalen, he's on the field and he's going to be able to do everything in his power to help us win that game."

"Sorry I rushed that answer that question and didn't give it my full thought," Booker said. "You're never going to be 100 percent playing football in the SEC. When you're on that field, you're giving your all.

"I just didn't want to put a narrative out there about Jalen that could have been spun a certain way."

And this from DeBoer after the Tenn game.

  • DeBoer asked about if Milroe is dealing with any injuries. “There’s nothing that is going to be holding him back from being able to go out there” and helping to get a win. But DeBoer noted everyone playing significant snaps right now is dealing with something usually.
Re-post for Toddrn. Did not come out and say "he is hurt" but pretty obvious to me he has been dealing with an injury(s).

Without proof it's just a rumor or an excuse for poor performance. But I guess we will wait until after the season is over to see if you are correct.
Look, you are not a prosecutor and I, nor 81, is on a witness stand. We both have sources we can't divulge, which should be obvious, although I knew it before I had it confirmed. I've had multiple shoulder injuries myself, and if you're old enough, watching Zow trying to play through a shoulder injury should be education enough. Now, I'd advise you not to start commenting on the intellect of your fellow members, based on your dislike for them. Do it again and you'll be on the outside looking in for the rest of the season. BTW, do NOT reply to this in the thread. If you have something to say to me or about me, do it via the private message mechanism...

Exactly. Something changed him up a bit from his usual, and that compensation made his accuracy worse, especially in the Tennessee game.
Exactly. When he tried to throw hard to the sideline, he'd throw three feet high, the same as Zow did. "81" said 80%. I'd guessed 85% after LSU, for the shoulder. I'd say the injury which affected his running is almost resolved, based on LSU again. The bye week came at a wonderful time...

Milroe was so off in that game, missing receivers by 5+ yards, that he should have been pulled. Injury or not, he was incapable of throwing even the most basic pass in that game. That has never been true of him.

I also believe that he was injured.

I didn't see anything in the LSU game that indicated any injury. He may have had something around the Tennessee game. But he seems fine now, from what I can tell.

Yep. The article was from the Monday after Tennessee game. Two weeks off is a beautiful thing to get rid of nagging pain/injury.

Aside from knowing what his injuries were, I saw plenty. When you see him able to put some air under his long ball, get back to me...

Particularly if you're young, athletic and healthy...
