Nasty Rammer Jammer

I'm just tickled crimson to be hearing it!!! Frankly, I'm more offended hearing Rocky Top after games in BDS. Offended at Rammer Jammer?? You might want to reconsider subjecting those easily offended to the history, tradition and PRIDE of our beloved University Of Alabama Crimson Tide celebrating a home victory.

Hey, I am heading out tonight for Pascagula to help survey the area for sea walls and levee's. Our SUV's and Travel Trailers are Red and White (of course). The name on our vehicles - "Harbin Construction Surveyors" Looking to help the Navy Shipyards and Fishing Industry with building slips, levee's, pumping stations above flood level to avoid what just happened. Hope to see you down that way. If you see our Lincoln Navigators and Trailers yell out "Scott". You can't miss me. I'm wearing the Indiana Jones (Alabama Hat) and wear Alabama Polo shirts. I am approximately 6' 4" 260. Yell out and say hello. Hope to see you down there and best of luck with your project. Ignore the Notre Dame, Indiana, and Purdue members with me. Just Kidding, they are wonder people.

a silly, silly topic. Like any team goes back to thier campus with the Rammer Jammer burned into their minds (oh how rude! Did they just say they just beat the hell out of us...boo hoo hoo). Good heavens people lighten up.
 
Good Lord. I can't believe people still want to debate this. Rammer Jammer should be used early and often, and againt every team we play. As a matter of fact, let me be the first to say:

HEY EAGLES!
HEY EAGLES!

WE'RE GONNA BEAT THE HELL OUTTA YOU!!
RAMMER JAMMER YELLOW HAMMER
GIVE 'EM HELL ALABAMA!!!

Thanks, I'll be on the lookout for you guys. I'll primarily be in Gulfport and Ocean Springs working with a team from Gulf Power Company in Pensacola. We are working with Mississippi Power employees to help them get the power back on. Gulf Power alone has already sent 10 truck loads of supplies, and dozens of line crews. Mississippi Power and Gulf Power are sister companies within the Southern Company along with Alabama Power, Georgia Power and Savannah Electric. You'll see a lot of people from Southern Company down there. Southern has sent hundreds of crews, and dozens of tractor-trailer loads of supplies. I'm looking forward to helping out.
 
The cheer is hella cool. I was screaming it hella loud too. If you dont like it dont come to the game or just close your ears when we sing it.

Rammer Jammer

After being in the stands after a home loss and hearing the visiting team play their fight song in our stadium, I say play Rammer Jammer everytime we win.

Even worse, losing to AU then hearing their band play it.
 
Ummmmm.....Some of you people need to take up other hobbies other than watching football. Waaaay too sensitive to irrelevent topics, like "Singing the Rammer Jammer". I mean its football. If u want peace and quiet then watch golf or a chess match. I dont care if Bama beats MTSU, FSU, or SCLSU Technical Institute for the Basketweavers. We whoop someone then we sing the Rammer Jammer!
 
I've worse that Rammer Jammer. Heck, we had one or two "unofficial fight" songs back in high school that were alot worse than RJ.

I get a kick out of hearing it.

For those that don't like it, then I say plug up your ears.

The University of Alabama is my beloved Alma Mater. Sing it, Scream it, Have fun. It is ALABAMA FOOTBALL.

Somehow I wound up here searching for a video of RammerJammer tonight after the clobbering of LSU because I missed it. It is the year 2024 now and this thread is hilarious! "Vile and nasty" Rammer Jammer! I had forgotten that some people, back in the day, thought that. I needed another laugh even though I laughed a good bit during the beatdown.
