Oregon kicks a FG right before the half. Now lead 31-24. Poor clock management at the end there by Oregon. They had three time outs left and could have had a few more shots at a TD, but didn't use them.

Their last two possessions Smith only carried the ball twice over the course of 16 plays and he’s their best weapon.
The diff is Clempson has some dudes. When everything clicks they can probably play with anyone.
SMU has to have EVERYTHING go right for them to be competitive against a team with a pulse.
I can't see any committee member looking at SMU and thinking they're better than Alabama. The fact that a committee member said it's possible they'd drop SMU below Bama has me believing they will.

Exactly. If Clemson had gotten better QB play down the stretch they might be 11-1 right now.

Booger is not only aptly named, but he literally makes Dinich come across like a genius. I didn't even watch him at halftime but can honestly say he is the dumbest human on television.
If this blowout continues I’m gonna hate missing the playoffs (I assume) but it will be fun watching these talking heads contort themselves and verbally chase their own tails trying to justify smu’s inclusion. I would say after they get blown out in the playoffs I’d like to watch the pundits eat crow but they still think tcu was worthy so whatevers
This is always the result with the ACC. The Big Ten, not so much from what I remember.
