Justin Jefferson is taking Lawsons place. I hope he can do a good job because having 3 starters on defense out for the year isn’t a good thing especially with Auburn and their offense.

Yes. Alabama has several key injuries, key players not meeting their potential (even Burnip), appeared disinterested and unmotivated despite having everything to play for against an overmatched opponent on Saturday, an OC who is so in love with a game plan that worked weeks ago that he just keeps recycling it (I hope it is that and not a combination of laziness and lack of imagination) , and a head coach that thinks we had a great week of practice and that one of the key factors in our loss was not so much that we couldn't stop a simple quarterback draw but rather issues related to the stadium lighting.

Yet we are a double-digit favorite. I would not bet on this game with Monopoly money.

I hope we win. I will watch maybe the first quarter. If we are still having our QB run the ball against a spy system, without regard to whose decision that is, and if we are making Thorne look like the second coming of Slingin' Sammy Baugh, I'll just clean out the attic or something.

I've been a fan since the 60s and fervently support all the teams of my alma mater, but at some point they have to at least try to earn my confidence and support by giving some effort.

If they are as disinterested as they appeared on Saturday evening, why should I be interested in them?

I am not saying anyone should bet on this game(or at all) or believe in this team at this point BUT, in all likelihood Auburn's stock is as high as it has been all season after winning and ours is probably as low as it has been all season after losing.

That does not mean that we will cover or even win BUT, from a betting standpoint it probably is a decent buy low/sell high spot. So, whatever the number is on Friday there probably will be some value in betting on Alabama.

It really all depends on how we are ranked on Tuesday. But I honestly don't even want to have to support this team in the playoffs.
Yeah I’m to the point that I would cheer for USCe to get the #12 spot over us than have to hear the Milbro cult spin this as the greatest thing that ever happened in sports and how Milroe is the greatest leader of all time should we luck out and win it all.

I honestly think they might get in over us with a win over Clemson. Really unsure how the committee would see it.

They've overachieved to get their shot, we've underachieved to blow our's.

If it comes down to which team is more deserving, it's SC by a long shot in my book.
