Not feeling good about the Iron Bowl at all

Tenn and OU games are the WORST Bama QB play I have seen since before CNS

There is no way on green earth that Ty would have been a worse option and it would have been a tactical change up.
Common denominator: Both teams have excellent defenses, and both defensive plans were to stop Jalen from running. He became a non-factor in both games.

The very few running plays our running backs got to run the ball usually turned into positive yardage. 90% of the time, Jalen would keep it himself for negative to no yards gained.
Justice Haynes only got 8 touches. I think he was hurt at one point. That's why we saw Richard Young.
I do agree that Jalen tries to run it too much instead of giving it to a RB.

THAT cocky when your team is 5-6?? Lord!! 😂
Yeah well we just got dehorned by 5-5 Oklahoma team that resembled a MASH unit. Why shouldn’t they believe coming to BDS and winning is within the realm of possibility? But I do like the notion of freshman LB letting his mockingbird mouth overload his hummingbird rear end.

I hope he keeps talking. I hope he thinks they are about to beat us badly that we ask to play 10 minute quarters in the 2nd half. I want his head to be enormous coming into the game

The Vanderbilt coaching staff wrote the book on how to beat Alabama and it was followed to a "T" by two of our three losses. Put 7 or 8 guys on the line of scrimmage, blitz at least one linebacker on every passing play and the biggest #1 key on defense; set the edge on Jalen Milroe. For some reason he always tries to outrace everyone to the edge on every single run. Gotta turn it upfield and get that first down. Every run doesn't have to be a homerun.

The Barn is going to do the same thing. Can we adjust? We haven't yet this season.
Actually, the Michigan defensive staff wrote the book on how to beat Alabama with Milroe at QB. That was a year ago, with a totally different staff at Bama, but nothing has changed. Why is that? (This is a rhetorical question)

how bad do lsu and uga fans feel knowing that was all they had to do?
I hate to scout for the Barn, but if you put eight guys in the box, you can stop the run, as long as the defense maintains lane discipline. Always bring one more rusher than Bama has blockers, even if that means leaving corners one-on-one with Bama wideouts on deep, slow-developing pass plays. It won't matter if Milroe does not get time to let the deep routes develop.
Then Bama's only option is to force Milroe to through slants, screens and out patterns, which, to put it mildly, are not his forte.
Stopping a Milroe-led Bama offense is fairly simple. Not easy, mind you, but simple.

This kind of reminds me of the last time Bama played Oklahoma.
Derrick Henry ran the ball up OU's nose and OU had no answer.
Henry's problem was that he was slow to pick up the pass blocking scheme. Saban told him, if you cannot pick up a blitz, then the other guys will know that if you are in the game, it is a run play and then they can stack the box.
Eventually Henry got good at pass blocking, but until then, his weakness as a pass blocker limited his effectiveness as a running back.
Likewise, opponents exploit Milroe's limitations in short and intermediate passing to limit his effectiveness as a QB. Milroe is one of the fastest runners I have seen. He throws a very good deep ball. His limitations in short and intermediate passing (and reading defenses pre- and post-snap) severely hamper the team's effectiveness.
I thank him for trying, but sometimes your best is just not enough. The SEC plays Big Boy football.
