A guy with Muschamps demeanor is a non-starter with today's players. They dont have to put up with his BS.

Today, the pressure is on the coaches to develop, teach, implement sound strategy. You cant lose your mind and reach or motivate players.
Maybe Muschamp was not the best example, I'll concede that. But I want someone that shows some emotion from time to time and doesn't just stand there like a statue holding a clipboard when the defense is melting before our eyes. What you are describing goes without saying and is obvious. From what I understand Pete is great at drawing out plays on a dry erase board but if he cannot motivate players to properly execute on the field then he does not need to be a coordinator imho.

Yeah, a couple of those nuclear tantrums he has on the sideline and most of these NIL-generation players will shut down. This meltdown he had in the 2015 Iron Bowl still sticks in my mind

I know lots of folks here disagree but we need to hire him because someone else will take that chance if we don't. Just keep him on a very short leash.
He was fine at Bama before. That orange just taints most people. We just need to detoxify him from head to toe. Pruitt is my second choice behind Leonhard.

Muschamp made a huge difference at Auburn. I lived in Auburn during that time and was able to go to the key games for free. He completely changed the culture on their defense.

Georgia has also profited greatly with him as DC. We need someone very like him. Pruitt is in that mold.

The NFL coaching circle is really quite small, and someone who has proven themselves to be just 'meh' in the NFL will get look after look as they never know when all the right pieces will come together, but they're really cautious about bringing new people into the circle.

BOB has, from what I can tell, a solid NFL reputation (amongst people who matter, not fans) - I expect he could pick up the phone, out the word out, and have an NFL job in <24 hours.
Dream on. Really, pick up the phone and say, "Hey Hire me, I have NFL experience and be in another town in 24 hours" Dude, this is really funny.

I think if we hire Mullen it more benefits Milroe. He is more the type of QB that Mullen prefers. Brian Johnson, a protege of Mullens, has been mentioned on another board. He is the QB coach for the Eagles and done a great job with Jalen

I think Simpson has a higher upside, but think about most of Mullen’s QBs. Milroe fits his offense better. However, Saban has his own ideas what Bama’s offense looks like. I don’t think Mullen will be the new OC. Sort of just throwing it out there that Saban’s choice will say a lot about next years QB.
