Odds are Grant's days as an active rb at Alabama are over. We've got too many coming into the program that are dominating type backs. Ingram, Coffee, UpChurch AND Richardson will be on this team next season. That's not even counting Griffin (who looked like a HOSS tonight) and Ivan Matchett. Not much room for TG. I hate it though.
I wonder if the types of defenses we face in the next two games will dictate whether there is a role for slasher-types like Grant & Goode? Seems like 'over-pursuing' defense like aubie & UF MIGHT be ripe for getting burned by a Grant-type runner. Then again, we've got pretty good cutback abilities in Ingram, Coffee & Upchurch so maybe...

As for next year, we also have a great chance in seeing Preyear make it in as well as Matchett getting his shot in addition to Griffin, Goode, Richardson, & some other as yet unsigned ace RB! Of course the leaders will be returning from this year in Coffee, Ingram, & Upchurch - can we call this a CROWD? Can we call this a GREAT problem in the making?!

I agree too much depth at the RB position. I wonder why the coaches haven't tried to turn him into a receiver with his speed and quickness in the open field?

:BigA: RTR!
