I'm proud of this team for totally dominating the 1st half. Now that was Alabama football. If they would please stop stressing me out I'd appreciate though.

UT's defensive players weren't just lining up to stop the run by maintaining their positions along the line, they were "all" heading directly towards Richardson when the QB handed it off (or faked the handoff)

I'm not so sure about the injuries part. I read someone post that Alex Watkins had a sling on his wrist, and I think I read the trainer's lips say 42 Lacy is done.

Yep, they were lining up 8 men in the box... the difference was in the first half AJ was a little off on his throws and in the second half he nailed them

I was so glad they played so well in the 2nd half. I did not want to have one of those type games that go down to the bitter end. I can rest now and have a good night's sleep too! I think Alabama will be ready to play and take it to LSU come Nov. 5th! RTR! Oh yeah, I hate Tennessee!

Great win! A victory over Tennessee, no matter the records, is always sweet! IMO, UT sold out to stop Trent at all costs, and in the process took him out of serious heismann consideration(barring a herculean yardage effort against LSU AND the barn). Right now I think we beat LSU and we SHOULD win the iron bowl.

IMO, UT sold out to stop Trent at all costs, and in the process took him out of serious heismann consideration(barring a herculean yardage effort against LSU AND the barn). Right now I think we beat LSU and we SHOULD win the iron bowl.

Trent is still in the Heisman race, especially if Wilson doesn't lead Whisky to a comeback win tonight. He'll be fine if he has good games against LSU, AU and the SEC championship game.

Trent is still in the Heisman race, especially if Wilson doesn't lead Whisky to a comeback win tonight. He'll be fine if he has good games against LSU, AU and the SEC championship game.

Agreed. Ingram had a horrible game against Auburn in 09 which seemingly took him out of the race, but came back with a monster game against Florida to clinch it.

I added that disclaimer, Prof--I said UNLESS he has big games the remainder of the way. But history is not in his favor-- in four games against the barn/LSU, Trent has been far from impressive and they will, like UT was tonight, be focusing on him like a laser beam.

If TR has a big game Nov. 5th, the awards will take care of themselves.

I would love to see TR win the Heisman. However, the team will need to focus to beating LSU Nov 5, which I think they will focus on.
