Sir?I’m going to say this… none of the skill players to include RW are too happy with Milroe. Milroe is a ball and glory hog and it’s ran its course with the non lankers on the team.

This I think is 100% incorrect. If he were a great guy who put the team first and just couldn’t produce on the field, the attitude toward him would be totally different. CF, Jalen Hurts in 2017 . Instead, we have a QB who most here believe (still not sure if it’s true or not) has held the team hostage to his business deal. That’s why he’s not liked……If we are honest, I think most of the angst with Milroe’s play is not that he’s a “bad” QB. It’s that he’s not Tua, or Bryce, or Mac…
Milroe and Sims were in the exact same situation in that not many believed in them because everyone saw their ceilings and floors, but they exceeded expectations. However neither won a NC. But the main difference is that Sims was all about winning and letting play define his legacy whereas Milroe comes across as someone that is fine with winning as long as it helps his own self value. Sims is beloved and Milroe is the most polarizing quarterback in Alabama history. This I think is 100% incorrect. He played out of his mind in the 2015 CFBP too.Idk man, Coker was a heck of a player. I can’t remember him making any dumb decisions, and he certainly never LOST games for us like Milroe has. The TD he threw against the Barn where he evaded the rush and then scrambled to his right was an absolute DART to Stewart.
I cut my proverbial Alabama football teeth in the nineties and early 2000s so maybe I’m biased, but I would personally rank Milroe above every QB that played for Dubose, and all of the Stallings-era QBs apart from Barker. I think he probably ranks below everyone else on the list (discounting Guillon and Avalos, who were easily the most inept UA quarterbacks I’ve ever seen and it’s not even remotely close).I would only put JM ahead of Woodson, Avalos, Gullion, Tucker. Literally, all the other QBs could have performed sufficiently with the same supporting cast.
Well, his QB play is right up there with his tackling.I'm sure it's already been mentioned but did anyone else notice after JM's 2nd INT that he just didn't even attempt to tackle the guy at all? Am I missing something here? Dumbfounded and didn't notice during the game probably because I was having throwing a hissy fit.
Coker would have hospitalized the guy.Coker wouldn't wiff on a pick six tackle
Coker dreamed of being an Alabama football player. He fought like hell to get to be the starter after major injury, an OC who didn’t believe in him, and disappointment. He was a winner, leader, team first guy, and a strong willed individual. He knew his limitations and knew he couldn’t do it alone. He did it for his dream, he did it for his team, and he did it for the script A.Coker would have hospitalized the guy.
I loved watching him throw the ball, especially deep passes.Coker dreamed of being an Alabama football player. I loved just him loving playing the game. He wasn’t going to be denied.I loved watching him throw the ball, especially deep passes.
Those are 2 of my favorites of the Saban era. Sims—what a story, what a an example. Glad he was ours..I loved just him loving playing the game. He wasn’t going to be denied.
Sims and Coker may be my favorite quarterbacks to wear the crimson jersey.
