It hasn't happened in a long time but we got outcoached tonight. Never thought it would happen to A&M with Jimbo running off at the mouth.

O’brien was terrible in the red zone. How do you not give 4 the ball AT LEAST ONCE when its 1st and goal at the 6 and the guy is averaging about 7 ypc?

But as bad as that was, Golding should be drawn and quartered on the Strip for that call on A&M’s last TD. You just cannot let them isolate the safety like that with a TD lead and time running out. I really hope this is his last season in Tuscaloosa. I’ve had enough.

At the end of the game all the well rested defense had to do was get one stop out of two possessions. This is against a team that was held to 10 points in two entire games.

What happened? They gave up 10 points, in two possessions! How are you arguing that's acceptable? Just those two possessions were worse than an entire four quarters of defense from two other teams! You don't even need to talk about the 250 yards given up in the first half which was dreadful, just the end of the game.
But again... How do you explain us missing out on 28 points with all 4 of them being 3rd and short. Do the math... Does that 10 points ever matter if we score a TD on 1 of them? I know you love using math on Golding but be fair and use it with BoB.

I agree, I really hope we have a new DC in 22, for every good game he calls, he has two bad ones.

This game was lost during the week. Saban has been preaching focus since August and now we see why. All streaks must end so if you're going to lose, losing to a team with 2 conference losses is the way to do it.
True, but I hate that we lost so many streaks in one game. 19 game winning streak-gone; Saban 24-0 against former assistants- gone, 100 game winning streak against nonranked opponents-gone. Tip the cap to A&M.

Been discussed ad nauseam here. But, Golding is a problem. Four and five star players on defense led by a one star coach. There’s a reason no one is beating down his door to hire him away.

Just experienced another Stephen Garcia/Bo Wallace moment, Calzada will probably look bad against everyone else the rest of the way.

But it was the perfect recipe to beat Alabama, QB plays lights out and Alabama has costly turnovers, just like tonight, the fumble, the interception, and giving up the kick return was almost like a turnover.
He has completed 53% of his passes this year and has a QBR of 49 prior to this game

A lot went wrong.

Defense played a terrible first half then folded at the end of the game.

Offense turned the ball over, 3 straight pass plays from the five, took too long to adjust in the first half, dropped balls. Billingsly looked like he rather not be out there.
