The same play by Alabama would have the player tossed. If it wasn't targeting it was a late hit, personal foul, on the QB at a minimum. Shame on the replay officials in B'ham. An absolutely atrocious call.

Do they name the review guy sitting in an office in B’ham like they do the officials on the field? If so I’ve never picked up on it. Just feels like there’s some random protected guy making calls in B’ham that needs checked on.

Can someone who recorded the game look at how many yards we lost on special teams tonight? Seems there was always a penalty if we tried to return one, conveniently, and then there was the punt. It has to be well over 100 yards.

Sorry, I deleted it. But, yeah, it was startling. The last two games Alabama went from the top 20 in special yeams to the bottom third, probably.

If I could only pick one coordinator to replace, it would be Golding. He's now lost 3 games when the team scored over 40 and 1 game when we scored 38. I wish I had the time to look back through the records to see how many times that has happened previously.

Saban said the defense was soft tonight………… maybe it’s past time to send Pete packing and get someone to harden them up

15 years is a long time. Hell you couldn't hold a conversation with 2 of my kids last time this happened, and the other 2 had yet to have been born lol.

End of the day, it's a loss to a top 5 team on the road and Bama still has everything in front of them. Maybe this is a wakeup for them too. Been shaky.

Spare the Vols a thought. Know you hate them but no one deserves a decade and a half of getting smashed.

I could be crazy, but I’m starting to think Anderson got too bulked up this off-season. I believe I heard that he gained 15-20lbs of muscle. But he looks to be a step slower than he was last year. I have no scientific evidence to back that up other than the eye test, but he just doesn’t look the same to me.

Last year there wasn’t an OL that could keep him out of the backfield. Even with double teams he was still a terror. This year he seems to have a much harder time getting any separation.
