Agreed, but I like it. Leave Bama at #2 for the rest of the season so they have something to prove.
Dabo won't be able to use the "nobody respects us" crap, he spews out. Although I am sure he will find some obscure article no one has ever heard of that will say something negative about his team and he will say that is "everybody"
Not related to the game, but Tua played the end of the game for Miami today. Threw 2 passes, both complete, for about 10 yards and ran out the clock in the game.
Do to drinking I steered clear of the game thread. Friday was my 35th birthday and me, my dad and granddad watched t he game together. But, even sober me was wondering what the heck went wrong on that play. Im glad to see someone b reak it down for me! I seen the RB swing out and the LB move out into coverage. I was begging for a time out. But it felt to me that it wasn't just the LB on the RB that caused the issue. There was no help over the top. Thats why I asked if it was a blitz or pure blown coverage. There was NO help over the top.
And that is putting it kindly.
Give me Mac Jones and his accuracy against competent competition all day against sunshine and whatever other teams play in the "conference."
And I am not saying Trevor Lawrence isn't a good QB. But, I am saying the bottom of the ACC defenses are worse than the bottom of the SEC defenses. I am also saying that we hung 41 on the top defense in the country in prime time to put the nation on notice and OUR defense shut em down in the second half. That is why I believe we got a shot at 18. If our defense can make a few stops here and there..we win because our offense is really that damn good! Defense does not have to be world beaters(although it would be very welcome.) They just need to play assignment football and get some stops.
Also agreed. Snubbed is an understatement. Beat the number 3 team with the number 1 defense in the country by 3 scores and Clempson hangs 73 on the sisters of the poor? Which is more impressive? But as CA said, let the disrespect flow. I want a #2 Bama vs. A #1 Clempson. With an outcome of explicitives that translates to bama kicking their (more explicitives.) To prove a point.

I rewatched the game and can say that our D really finished the game. Our Offense is as good or better then anyone in the nation. People will say that georgia's offense is not that good but georgia has as much talent across the board as we do. We still took their lunch. Roll Tide!!!!
Honestly, I was tired of them the whole week. The Kirby love from some of them was sickening. I stayed off the game thread because I knew the Eeyore rampage was going to be in full force early. But anyone that was scared about Georgia's offense really hasnt watched them imo.
Yet so many here for the past week actually believed we were playing the Steel Curtain with the 2007 Patriots offense. Good lord people really need to start watching other teams instead of just watching us. Anyone that watched Georgia this year could see that they werent built for a track meet.

I am taken back a bit getting used to My beloved university having a high powered offense. I grew up with defense being the mainstay.
