I liked hearing CKD say something to the effect that they knew he was a smart kid and would get adjusted and make a play.

we have a highlight reel just against jawjuh that would make 99 % of college football programs jealousI could watch that INT + the 2 insane Ryan Williams plays over and over. In fact I have watched all 3 plays probably 100 times each already lol
No I agree the Defense was playing hard the whole game and making plays.I love the win, and I'll take it however we can get it, but I'm glad it was us making plays at the very end and not just surviving our big lead.
We missed a couple of great opportunities at the end of the first half to put them away, or at least really deflate them. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I thought the defense played well last night. We forced 4 turnovers, and every one of their TD drives, except for the last one, required a 4th down conversion. There was as much luck on Georgia's side in staying in that game as there was 2nd half execution.
We have a ton to work on on both sides of the ball, but we are as good or better than anyone in the country if we stay focused.
I saw folks compare that to the 2004 game against LSU when Corey Webster? mugged Keith Brown? in the end zone and picked off Spencer Pennington without getting DPI. This wasn’t even close to that.
Yeah, against LSU, the receiver was calmly thrown out of the way and the ball caught by the DB.I saw folks compare that to the 2004 game against LSU when Corey Webster? mugged Keith Brown? in the end zone and picked off Spencer Pennington without getting DPI. This wasn’t even close to that.
Apparently we paid the refs again. There were 2 calls in Alabama's favor that totally would have flipped the game for uga. It seems Bama just cheats all the time and uga is just another victim.i do enjoy a dash of salty uga tears with my sunday morning coffee
thats not our offense......its all predicated on pace......to me thats where we got outcoached. uga made serious adjustments at the half and coach deboar forgot how to get milroe in a groove and more importantly settle him down a bitI couldn't understand why the coach talking to him through the helmet wasn't telling him to burn clock. He could have easily used up over a minute in the next to last drive.

The adjustments Kirby made, was putting 2 men out to cover the outside where we had huge success in the first half. It worked, and stopped our outside plays. But I didn't see any compensation for that by Bama. There didn't seem to be any plan B for Kirby making adjustments like that. But then, I'm not an X and O person.thats not our offense......its all predicated on pace......to me thats where we got outcoached. uga made serious adjustments at the half and coach deboar forgot how to get milroe in a groove and more importantly settle him down a bit
but Bama won the game.....roll tide!!
He was snapping the ball with 20 seconds left and sometimes more. The radio shuts off at fifteen seconds on the play clock may be why.
Alabama also backed off the extra pressure in the second half, almost playing prevent defense. Should have worked, but GA converted every 4th down opportunity. That was freakishly impossible, but it happened. GA did everything right in the second half, until Alabama did Alabama things. The adjustments Kirby made, was putting 2 men out to cover the outside where we had huge success in the first half. Or just flipped to the short passing game. They were not going after Milroe. He would have picked them apart. But DeBoer wanted to run clock, so he ran into the teeth of a great defense. When UGA adjusted, offensively we should have run counter. UGA started playing straight line defense.
Mark Ingram is so full of Bama he can't contain it!!!
Love seeing him around the team.
