Kinda like how I have always answered people in Alabama when asked where I went to college. I say “I went to the University.”JessN has probably done his research and knows where that came from. It has nothing to do with any out of state school.

Do you like knowing the ending to a book before reading it?![]()
Searching Google, if I had to guess, I'd say the backup is either Gunnar Hoak or Jack Miller. Throughout the season, Stroud is never listed any higher than 3rd on the depth chart on any of the below links. Obviously, I'll take a Buckeye fan's word for it if they say Stroud is the backup; but, if I'm just doing "the bare minimum" research of a team I know nothing about on Google, I wouldn't list Stroud as the 2nd QB.Sure, it likely won't matter in the grand scheme of the game that CJ Stroud is Ohio State's backup QB because no QB other than Fields will likely see the field. The point is that you can find out that information in 30 seconds by using Google. The writer literally didn't bother to do the bare minimum of research on that topic which would lead you to believe he did not bother to do any research on Ohio State for this article.
You also stated in your post that CJ Stroud is not the backup QB. Please enlighten us on who Ohio State's backup QB is than?
Mission AccomplishedDefensively, the key to this game will be to not let Sermon continue his absurd rushing streak he's put together. Yeah, Fields is dangerous but, IMO, he's only dangerous if Sermon is having success. Stop or slow down Sermon and I think Fields isn't as effective.
